Apple Creek Guest House - The Safari Room

Apple Creek Guest Home is located in the historic district of Aberdeen. It is a Victorian home built in 1911. There are 4 guest rooms in this home. Each has a unique theme to it. There is The Vintage, The Pines, Safari Room and Kingsly. Apple Creek Guest Home is a warm and welcoming place with a relaxed and fun atmosphere.. You will find books, puzzles, games and hot chocolate to cozy up to in in the winter and outdoor fun and games in the summer. The Safari Room has a fridge, microwave and Kierg coffee pot with all the coffee choices and fixin's. It's a cool room. I recommend it for my one or two night guests. It's comfortable but small, without a closet. There is a small wardrobe cabnet. The bathroom is shared with the other two rooms. There is also a bathroom with shower on the main floor to use. As most of my guests have been longer stay guests, If one of the other room are not available, I will give you the choice to move if you desire when another room becomes available. There is some parking in the driveway. Most prefer street parking. We are on a snow emergency route. If it is snowing, all vehicles can be accomodated in the driveway. If you are here without a vehicle, we are walking/cycling distance to most places. Lift is available and their is a door to door bus service for $2.00 per destination in Aberdeen. My son and I have also been able to drop off and pick up when needed. Transportation has not been a problem. I really love meeting new people and getting to hear some of their stories. Most are busy, they have an agenda and are tired after the drive. I find it best after the initial meet and greet to give them their space. I love where I live. it is safe, quiet and beautiful. especially in the warmer months. There is a park a couple blocks down the street. It's a beautiful, peaceful neighborhood with well kept historic homes. The best way to get around is by car. In the summer, if you love to cycle, you can get around anywhere you want to go on bike as it isn't a large city. It won't take you long to get from point A to point B even on bike. Either my son Jeremy or I will always be here to greet you upon arrival. As we both work, I probably will not be able to be here for your departure from my home and that really bugs me! I LOVE to cook and if I'm cooking a guest worthy dinner, I'm going to let my guests know. You will be invited!
