The entire whole first floor guest suite Space is completely sanitized before and after each guest! As an epidemiologist, cleanliness and ur health is very important to me, especially during this covid era where enhanced cleaning is a must . All mattresses and non decorative bed pillows have waterproof comfortable enclosed zippered polyester blend coverings that are wiped down in between each guest visit prior to putting on bedsheets and pillowcases ! This is a great place to stay for couples who want to explore all that Nashville has to offer and come back to the quiet peace and beauty of nature and forests. My property has almost 50 acres , with about over 45 acres of forest ( and it is recorded within TN green belt program) and it has a hilly private gated driveway. The trees and grass and fruits on the property are organic , though we have a company that sprays the inside of the houses once every 3 months or so with environmentally non toxic spray to keep away bugs. But crickets, ladybugs moths etc can still come in if u leave the doors ajar, that is part of nature. i love the forest and peaceful vibe despite all the animals i see on my property and i hope u will too. I have over 45 acres of forest this animals are naturally part of the forest like birds , deer, snakes etc, so it is important to make sure that doors are shut at all times. we use white powdered organic dichotomous earth behind and beside the fridge and oven to try to keep such bugs away Here you can wake up and take a peaceful nature and quiet filled walk down my hilly driveway surrounded by trees or take a short walk to my rustic moss covered old tennis court next to my guest house! 2 tennis rackets and balls will be placed on wood table under the microwave for u in addition to a yoga mat or if u prefer u can bring yours . There is a brand new Yesoul bike beside the writing table in the airy living room and chess board game for you .My almost 50 acres Property is in TN green belt and u can explore my forest especially in fall when the snakes, coyotes, deers and turkeys are hopefully hibernating and navigate your own trail while minding-the fence wires that demarcate my 2 large properties that total close to 50 acres. There might be occasional animal sighting but stay on the walkways . Stay in nature surrounded by trees and step out of the basement screened in porch to see my forest trees behind the brick pool fence. Bask in the fire of the huge concrete block firepit, watch the night sky & stars and play your guitar. Pool now open for summer. 25-30 minutes close to everything but secluded for when you need to recharge your batteries. Private gated side entrance, private suite with bathroom, large quirky black and white hand painted closet. Has a designated bedroom with a king 4 poster bed and a walk in whimsical black white hand painted closet with hand painted abstract black paint on walls that tie in to the overall vibe of the suite. . Another room which we call the Library/ great room/bedroom has a full bed and an electric fireplace and sitting area by the fireplace ( no more than 6 guests Library/ great room/bedroom has a custom burgundy curtain across the wide open double doorway in case there are 2 separate families and they want privacy in the Library/ great room/bedroom , There is no door but the long curtain can be let down for privacy into the Library/ great room/bedroom . The curtain can be let down at night or during the duration of stay . We compost, we scatter coffee grounds on the outside grounds to organically keep away mosquitoes and bugs especially when using the fire pit , we sprinkle a few, the smell keeps mosquitoes away. We collect compostable trash , eg banana peels , apple cores etc in a plastic bag and spread them at the back in the forest around the base /under the trees behind the brick fence. The space light filled basement floor. open light filled spaces with whimsical, antique and vintage furnishings and decor that were selected by my decorator and I. Partial apartment basement living suite has separate entrance through the unlocked gate near the garages. Guests can have tea on the screened in porch or Guests can walk to front porch of the house to view the wildlife or take their cup of coffee or tea there to take in nature and the forest. Close to all downtown and East Nashville attractions ( merely about a 25 minute drive) . security camera out side. No security camera inside the apartment suite. All doors leading to outside have door sensors . Guest access Access to private suite, bathroom and large closet as well as living area , kitchenette and library/bedroom/great-room area with fabulous electric fireplaces. Take a couple of the leather pillows and extra comforters and lay and relax in front of the fireplace. Other things to note My partner and i stay on the other 3 floors of the house (there are 4 floors on the house for a total of about 12,000 sq feet on the main house. About 2000 sq ft on the ground floor/partial basement apartment will be just for the guests and is not be shared , You will probably not hear us, may see the lights on the above 3 floors, & rarely u may see us as we take walks down my private gated long hilly driveway or walk to the property’s rustic tennis court at guest house . Apartment suite Rooms are spacious with a dedicated bedroom & a 2nd Library/ great room/bedroom Enter through our gated driveway to your private sanctuary with 24-hour key-less access. Our guests enjoy all 2000+sq ft of our lower level including two living spaces (both with electric fireplaces), kitchenette with bar, dining area, shower over tub with separate vanity room. Kitchen includes sink, granite countertops, stove top oven, microwave, keruig coffeemaker , tea kettle , toaster. Sleeping accommodations for 6 ( please let me know if there will be more than 6 guests , there will be an extra guest fee of $60 per night ) including Master w/ king poster bed, 2nd bedroom/library with 2 queen poster beds , Living rooms with sofa, and lounger & sleeper futon. Everything is ground level. Private covered screened patio area with charcoal grill and electric grill available for guest use. Please note* Guests must be at adults 21+ to book with us. There are no dishwasher or laundry facilities in the apartment for guest use but there are several nearby laundromats. Thank you! Guest access park at the end nearest the side gate beside the 4 car garage parallel to the last garage closest to the gate and walk through the unlocked gate. Porch door will be unlocked and unlock the suite door with the provided keypad code i will send to your email a day or so prior to your visit. Other things to note Absolutely no smoking inside the house. Door sensors on doors that lead outside . outside security cameras. No cameras inside. The ring security camera outside in the outside screened in porch is for the entry doors, please do not unplug our insurance carrier demands that. Thanks . Suite keeps ambient temperature since ground floor. So Window AC and portable AC and heaters, baseboard heater, ceiling fan in living room, bedroom , screen in porch, 2 Electric fireplace heaters and fans . Rare vintage collectable Glass dining tables, and glass bathroom doors , so take care if bringing very youbng children . We use dichotomous earth powder behind the fridge and oven to try to keep away lady bugs etc. We are on over 45 acres of forests that is in the TN green belt, so perfect for watching birds and different types of insects.
