That's why we now offer a wonderful, local laundry service that makes life a little easier with laundry pick- up and drop-off! Check them out on Get Fresh Start Laundry . com 🤗 They provide laundry pick-up and next day delivery and drop off your washed, dried, and folded laundry right to your suite door as well as send you text updates throughout the process! Their laundry bags are conveniently provided and located in the bedroom closet. 🫶🏼 🙏🏻 Starting August 1, 2025: For stays up to 30 days, one complimentary 35 lb. bag of laundry is included. When scheduling your laundry service with them, you'll also notice how Get Fresh Start Laundry caters to all your specific laundry needs. In just one minute, you can create an account with them, and use them as little or as much as you need. No contracts or minimums required. You simply schedule whenever you want a pick-up, and the next day your laundry will be right back at the suite. You would schedule and pay them directly through their site. :) • 💦⏳ NOW...THE 'IN-SUITE WASHER/DRYER COMBO UNIT. (dramatic music😆): While we do have a small combo unit in the suite, the reviews are seemingly mixed: some have loved it, others, not so much. Ready? It takes minimum of 3 hrs for one load to wash and dry. That's how those combo units roll 😆. and they are for smaller loads, not like a conventional, larger washing machine. So my suggestion is to go with the laundry service to ensure absolute laundry perfection. :) • However, if you'd like to give the washer/dryer unit in the suite a try (which is a washer/dryer in one), I will gladly send you a quick video on how to run it! Super easy! Also please be sure to keep white towels and linens from the suite SEPARATE from any of your colored clothes. :) Nothing worse than purpley-pink towels when you want a crisp white one. (and thank you!). • 🚿SHOWER: The shower on/off mechanism is NOT broken lol. It’s just a little less intuitive to turn on than most. The round center "handle" needs to be pulled forward (not left or right, but straight out, towards the toilet. And don’t be afraid to do this, you won’t break it haha. My advice is to try turning it on when you get there, so if you somehow need me to show you, you’re still fully clothed lol. I would gladly show you! Although I’m pretty confident with this explanation, you’ll be able to figure it out. ***For stay of more than two people, There is only one bathroom in the suite. It is an ensuite bathroom- meaning it is inside one of the bedrooms. While the property itself is tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with no through traffic, and sits on a private acre, and will never have construction done when guests are here, there may occasionally be daytime sounds from nearby landscaping or improvement projects. These are typically short-lived and infrequent, but I like to share this in advance so guests know of this possibility beforehand.
