Beautiful and spacious: attic of Boerderij 't Spoel

Beautiful location on the dike right next to Werk aan het Spoel! Amazing views a stone's throw from beaches on the Lek. Eat and relax at our neighbors of Caatje aan de Lek or brewery Duits & Lauret - part of the Dutch Waterlines (UNESCO heritage) or the Witte Schuur. Enjoy cycling and hiking with fantastic views from Goilberdingerdijk and Diefdijk. Also see the farm; the same sleeping area, plus downstairs with veranda and lounge with bar, pool table and wood stove. The space Boerderij 't Spoel consists of a front house (where we live) and a back house (where the bedroom/living room is in the attic) and has several accommodations. The attic is 1 large open space with limited kitchenette, sofa bed, double bed, dining table, (Apple and Chromecast) TVs, heating and air conditioning. On the second floor are the bathroom, a second bedroom and the toilet. You have your own entrance. The farm is south-facing and has unobstructed views of the bullet catcher and two shelters ("bunkers") on the Schootsveldpad. There is a lot of hiking and cycling around the farm, partly due to the popular Caatje aan de Lek op Werk aan het Spoel. On all sides, you have a very nice free view and a sense of space. The garden is large and equipped with a lounge sofa and a sports field. Next to the parking lot is a meadow where farmer Jan's cows regularly walk. Guest access You have access with your own front door to the attic (sleeping and staying) and the first floor (washing and using the bathroom). You can use the terrace at the front of the farm and the other outdoor facilities (possibly sometimes shared). The attic is located in the rear part of the former farm 't Spoel, facing south and with unobstructed views of the bullet catcher and two shelters ("bunkers") on the Schootsveldpad. Outside, you can enjoy the large garden with sports field, ping pong table, lounge sofa with fire basket and outdoor kitchen, swing, and a large sunbathing lawn. You have a private bathroom with bath and shower. We ourselves occupy the (separated) front part of the house, and on the first floor, in addition to the bathroom, children's bedroom and extra toilet, there are some unused private rooms that are closed during the stay. Outside, chickens live and cats from the neighbors roam. You can spot many different birds, a hedgehog occasionally, and regularly the cows of farmer Jan graze in our yard. The yard is located on a number of popular hiking and biking routes, NOTE: The third sleeping place is a sofa bed in the attic that overflows without complete separation in the master bedroom. The accommodation is suitable for people with walking difficulties. Other things to note There is a kitchenette, with a hob with frying pans, fridge, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle and on request a bread maker, juicer, food processor, hand blender and the like.
