Cozy two-room home in a semi-attached house. The apartment is situated about 9 kilometers south of the center of Kuopio. This place is a superb resting spot for travelers of route 5 and a suitable accommodation for a holiday in Kuopio. The space In the downstairs of this two-floor two-room home is the kitchen, the bathroom and the living room. In the upstairs there's the bedroom with the double bed. Suitable desk space for working is found in the living room and the kitchen. There's a sofa-bed with the fully expanded width of 120 cm in the living room. A washer is available for use in the bathroom. The kitchen is well-equipped, except it lacks a dishwasher. Guest access Free parking spot with an electric outlet for a block heater is situated just outside the front door of the apartment. Additional parking space for guests is available on the side of the house. The apartment can easily be reached from the highway taking the Pitkälahti exit. Long-distance bus stops Pitkälahti Ramppi P and Pitkälahti Ramppi E are situated a bit over 1 kilometer away from the apartment. Local buses stopping at Pitkälahti bus stop (Bus stop numbers 1549 and 1550) are half a kilometer away. Other things to note We will make the beds ready for the guests. Please notify us beforehand if you have preferences regarding the sleeping arrangements. In the summer, there is the possibility to use a private beach nearby. The host couple lives in the other half of the semi-attached house, so if a problem arises, help is quickly available. The water for the house is lifted from a drilled well, so the tap water has a hint of iron. The water is very much drinkable, but if you are shy of extra flavors, we also have filtering water jug which freshens the water up perfectly. Because the house has been built in the 1940s, typical odours for old houses may be present.
