A cozy and bright suite for your family to enjoy. Located in the heart of Esquimalt, you're steps away from coffee, restaurants, playgrounds, and oceanside parks, and just an 8 minute drive to Downtown Victoria. If you prefer to stay in, a full kitchen and comfy living room are ready for you in this 900 square foot home, complete with washer/dryer and a smart TV. Stay for a little while or a long one—we can't wait to have you! The space This completely private space has two bedrooms (1 queen bed, 2 twins), and ample common space for visiting, cooking, eating and relaxing. The decor and furnishings are simple, but the necessities are all here: kitchen cookware and bakeware, all the essentials for laundry and ironing, games and puzzles to pass the time, extra lighting for reading, and storage for your personal items. Unpack, settle in and get cozy. The suite is in the lower level of a 1910 character home and comes with all the sweet quirks of a heritage building. Our young family lives upstairs, and you may hear some activity throughout the day; however, our sleeping quarters are on the third floor so nights are quiet. NOTE: Taller guests should be mindful of the 6'5 ceilings and low doorways and beams that are throughout the suite. Guest access Enjoy a private, covered entrance as you come and go from the suite. There is space to lock your bike and store any rain gear out of the weather. A dedicated parking space is available, as well as additional street parking should it be required. The neighbourhood has 2 grocery stores within a 5 minute walk, a selection of great restaurants and cafes, and numerous beaches and parks to be enjoyed. Look up Saxe Point, Macaulay Point, and Highrock Park for some of the stunning views nearby. Events are always happening in the neighborhood, the weekly Farmer's Market and live music in the summer months take place in Memorial Park right across the street! To head out of Esquimalt, bike lanes will take you all the way to downtown (a 15 minute cycle), and buses traveling to UVic, Camosun, and Downtown run frequently across the street. Other things to note We are pet lovers! If you do bring your furry friends along, please be sure they are not left unattended in the yard or in the suite. We live upstairs, with two little people.
