Welcome to your Seattle getaway! This spacious 1,200 sqft 2-bedroom retreat offers breathtaking views of Lake Union and the city skyline. Nestled on North Capitol Hill’s peaceful west slope, you’re moments from Volunteer Park, the Asian Art Museum, and lively restaurants. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, inviting dining and living areas, and a private patio—perfect for morning coffee or evening wine while soaking in iconic Seattle views. The space About the Space Dryer is currently down for repairs, though you’re welcome to use the dryer upstairs You’ll be staying in the first floor of our 3-story duplex — a fully private 2-bedroom home with its own entrance, deck, hot tub, kitchen, and laundry room. We (the hosts) live in the top two floors. Key Details Guest Count: Please ensure your reservation accurately reflects the number of guests. There is A $20 fee per additional guest Access: Stairs are required — the home sits on a hill. Heating & Cooling: The unit has its own in-wall electric heaters plus access to the home’s central AC and furnace. You can open vents for extra heat and or cooling if desired Sleeping Arrangements Two bedrooms: one king and one queen bed. The sofa converts into a queen sleeper, and there’s also a queen air mattress available — comfortably sleeps up to three couples. Additional Notes We generally don’t accept booking alterations after confirmation, as our schedule follows Airbnb’s calendar. Pet-friendly: We welcome pets with a $190 pet cleaning fee. While we do our best to remove all hair between stays, please note that some may remain. The connecting stairway between our home and yours remains locked at all times during guest stays. If you need extra kitchen gear, spices, or supplies, just let us know — we’re happy to share! Guest access The home has ample free street parking nearby. It is 12 minutes away from the Capitol Hill Light Rail Station, which is the best way to get to and from SEATAC airport, as well as a variety of other destinations like the stadium, pioneer square, etc. It is located on the route 49 bus line which takes you directly downtown. It is also located next to the Howe street steps, which is a direct path down to South Lake Union Amazon Campus. Other things to note Our home was built in the early 1900s, so please expect some occasional sounds from above, including footsteps and our three-year-old daughter.
