Welcome to The Benninghofen House, a boutique hotel and venue in the heart of Hamilton, Ohio. A Queen Anne Victorian in the historic Dayton Lane neighborhood, we are near Spooky Nook Sports Champion Mill, Miami University, Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park, The Donut Trail, Lake Lyndsay, The Benison, Jungle Jim's, Kings Island, disc golf, and more! We offer 4 rental apartments. Guests can enjoy our lush backyard and grand front porch. Schedule yoga and massage or a private event during your stay. The space Stay in the master suite of our 1892 Queen Anne Victorian mansion. Located on the 2nd floor of the home, and accessed via keypad, this private space's entrance is separate from the main house. The suite has many original features, including extensive woodwork and 2 fireplaces (inoperable), and offers a large, beautifully appointed master bedroom, a common room with a TV and kitchenette (mini fridge, water cooler, coffee, microwave, basic dishware and glasses), and a lavish bathroom with a claw-foot tub (with shower) and bidet. The common room also has a twin-sized day bed with a twin-sized trundle. In addition to hosting short-term guests, we use this suite for our tiny weddings for brides and grooms to get ready in separately (the two large rooms can be closed off from each other with a door), and also as a honeymoon suite for newlyweds. This space is not appropriate for small kids. No parties or events allowed. Guests also have shared access to the lush backyard and grand front porch. We have 3 additional short term spaces available at The Benninghofen House. See our other listings if you need to accommodate more guests or if your dates aren't available in this unit. Guest access Guests will have 1 off-street parking space behind the house, off the alley. Parking spaces are labeled for each unit, and you would park in space A. The backyard and front porch spaces are available to all guests staying at The Benninghofen House unless there is a private event during your stay at which time these spaces may be closed. Guests may use the fire pit and outdoor grill, but please let us know first so we can tell you how everything works. Guests are not permitted to use the pizza oven, Argentine grill, smoker, or beer taps, unless booking a private event. Guests may use the tree fort, swing set, and ping pong table, but children are not allowed in the backyard unsupervised. An adult must be present with kids in the backyard at all times. Guests are not permitted to use the backyard hot tub. Other things to note The space is filled with original details: wood work, tile, fireplaces, windows, blinds, etc. Steps - The apt is on the third floor. There is no elevator, so if steps are an issue, then this may not be the ideal place. Yoga - Homeowner, Bekki, offers private yoga sessions to Airbnb guests. Let us know if you'd like to book one or more yoga sessions during your stay for an additional charge. (subject to availability) Groceries - Let us shop for you! We are able to have what you need in the kitchen when you arrive. Just send us a list and we'll take care of it for a small fee.
