Enjoy the hot tub in the backyard, sit by the fire pit on the patio, and feel right at home with a full kitchen, bath, and laundry. Sleeps 4 comfortably. Plenty of hiking nearby. Skiing is just 20 mins to Mt. Abrams and 35 mins to Sunday River, many breweries, antique shops and gem digging nearby. Relax by the fire, stargaze from the hot tub, or enjoy summer nights by the fire pit. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need to prepare your favorite meals, and there’s a washer and dryer plus ski storage for your convenience. Inside, enjoy exposed post-and-beam features, a cozy living room with a pull-out queen sofa, and a fully stocked game chest. The first-floor bedroom has deck access, while the loft-style bedroom above offers breathtaking views and a workspace. Outdoor amenities include a hot tub, Solo Stove fire pit, and nearby snowmobile/ATV trails. Note: Being a log cabin, occasional critters may visit—if that bothers you, this may not be the right fit. Things to Know: • Dog friendly - Our sheepdog Bertie is happy to share his bowls, toys and supplies. • We are in a very rural area but have neighbors on one side and across the street • Kitchen is fully equipped with all utensils, coffee, tea, appliances and basic spices. • Children welcome but the house is not "childproofed" (outlets, cabinet locks, etc). • There are no tv’s in the cabin, get ready to unplug! • Upstairs bedroom is a loft that is open to the kitchen downstairs. The loft staircase is not ideal for toddlers and we do not have baby gates. • Fireplace is environmentally friendly and burns gel canisters • Pond in lower yard is not for swimming and is not accessible mid summer as lower yard grows wild • 4x4 or AWD is recommended during winter months. • There are 2 exterior surveillance cameras pointed towards the driveway and yard and a security camera on the main doorbell. • Power is provided by a local solar farm • Guests are expected to leave the hot tub as they found it. You will be charged for any malfunctions due to misuse. • No smoking permitted anywhere inside the property. You will be charged $500 for violations Guest access Guests will have the whole house to themselves. There is plenty of parking in the driveway in front and alongside the house.
