Description

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. Farm-stay small cottage in a rural setting 20 minutes to Cooma, 45 min to Jindabyne, 75 min to Thredbo and Perisher. Drive down our shared unsealed road though neighbouring working farmland (grazing cows,calves,sheep lambs) for approx 4km to the small self contained cabin which was originally the Cooks cottage for the main house Cherry Tree Farm-Stay. The Cooks Cottage is newly renovated and an ideal get away for a couple or small family. The space The Cottage is small (almost tiny house size) 4 rooms in total - newly renovated. Fully fitted kitchen, induction 4 burner hob, new fan forced oven, microwave and all the kitchen appliances you would expect for a quick getaway. Main bedroom with 2 singles which can be pushed together to make a king bed upon request. The sitting room has a new sofa-bed which converts to a smalldouble. We have just recently installed a wood burning stove in the sitting room. Outside the cooks cottage area is a dedicated patio with outdoor tables and seating. Subject to availability cooks cottage guests are able to book the outdoor spa for their exclusive use. The spa costs $50 to heat to 39 degrees then $10 per night to keep at temp. Friendly Alpacas and Highland Cows roam freely and guests can hand feed daily. We do accept small well behaved pets but because as is a farm-stay we ask you check with us before booking. There is a pet fee of $25 per pet per night. Guest access Over 30 acres of farmland Other things to note Well behaved small pets are also welcome - you do need to advise before we can confirm your booking - $25 charge per night per pet. The jacuzzi can also be made available at an extra cost to heat $50 first night to prepare and heat to 39-40 degrees and then $ 10 per night to keep it there (please request at booking). We have removed instant booking and will only consider 4 with more details provided. We have a $30 per extra person charge over 2pax. Infants under 2 are no charge and we can provide portable cot and high chair In addition our response to Covid-19 : I follow Airbnb’s enhanced cleaning protocol, which was developed with expert guidance. Here are a few highlights: I sanitize high-touch surfaces, down to the doorknob I use cleaners and disinfectants approved by global health agencies, and I wear protective gear to help prevent cross-contamination I clean each room using extensive cleaning checklists I provide extra cleaning supplies, so you can clean as you stay I comply with local laws, including any additional safety or cleaning guidelines I also ask for your support: In the interest of the health and safety of all my guests, I’m asking everyone to answer the following questions before they arrive: In the last two weeks, have you or anyone you live with traveled to any areas that have been impacted by COVID-19? Have you been diagnosed with, or suspect that you have contracted, COVID-19?
