Fantastic hiking conditions summer and winter, walking, cycling and skiing. Prepared ski slopes when coming to the river Minilla. The trail network provides access to Jøldalshytta, Trollheimshytta, Skaret, Gjevilvasshytta etc. The cabin contains entrance hall, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 'shower bathroom' and storage room. Outdoor storage room with outdoor toilet, woodshed and sauna. The storehouse is currently not prepared for stays. The space Cozy cabin originally from 1969-70. Outbuilding with outdoor toilet, woodshed and electric sauna. The cabin is partially renovated 2022-24 with a new kitchen. Well-equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, hob and coffee machine. (Note: Currently, only two of the four hotplates on the hob are working!). The dining table with room for 8. Rags and towels for use in the kitchen are available. Thermos, mushroom basket, berry basket and coffee pot for campfire use available. Spacious living room with new fireplace for quick heating. Living room and kitchen keep 5-10 degrees in winter. All guests must ensure that the electric oven in the living room is set to 5-10 degrees upon departure. In the hallway in front of the bedroom there is a large dog bed with reindeer skin. Space for two medium-sized dogs (our dogs). Two bedrooms, one with a double bunk bed and one with a family bunk bed. In one bedroom there is a separate panel heater if extra heating is needed. This should be turned off on departure. Towels and bed linen must be brought. 3 mattresses with the dimensions 0.75 x 2 m, a mattress 1.40 x 2 m and a mattress with the dimensions 1.60 x 2 m (with regard to sheet sizes). All mattresses have bed protectors that must be on. Pedal shower in the 'bathroom'. The tank must be filled manually with heated water collected from our well, summer and autumn. In winter, the well is frozen and water must be brought/snow must be melted. Benches for outdoor use as well as four lounge chairs. Fire pan (located in outhouse). Old wooden mountain pulk in the woodshed for free use. Ski mats. Reindeer skins in the outhouse can be brought as a seat when you go skiing. The cabin should return in the same condition as on arrival! Photos must be sent to the owner before check-out after cleaning, emptying of garbage (incl. emptying of grounds in coffee/espresso machine). Refrigerator must be switched off (on/off button to the right of the refrigerator door). The refrigerator door must be open on departure. Floors only need to be vacuumed. This as long as there is snow and clean outside and there is no mud on the floors. Door to the outer hallway from the kitchen must be closed on departure. It would be nice if the firewood basket can be filled up with firewood before departure. Guest access Cabin with all facilities is available for guests. Road to outfield 50 meters from the cabin in summer and reaches little snow (see pictures), with parking as instructed. Parking on the farm Oppheim in winter. Winter time please provide approximately arrival time no later than 2 days before the rental period starts. This is so that you will have the exact address of the cabin as well as that parking is available when you arrive at the farm. Experience that this is being neglected by tenants and then the cabin is hard to find. In addition, when there is a lot of snow, the parking space is not cleared of snow. Tenants will be assigned where on the plot the car is to be parked. It is important that you park in the designated space. This is because there is farming on the farm and it is important that the landowner's access to the farm is not blocked. Recommend map search via 1881 when the address is collected. Parking fee for a car is included in the rent. Parking beyond this is NOK 50 per car per day. About 200-400 meters to ski to the cabin in winter from parking. The cabin is located in the forest belt to the left of the farm, follow the fence up the hill. The cabin is the first cabin on the left. Headlight is recommended in winter. It is possible to rent a new mountain pulk for goods transport in winter. The mountain pool must be picked up in Trondheim. Rental price NOK 300. In the outhouse there is an old wooden pulpit that is available for free use. Handover of keys by appointment. Other things to note -Short drive to shop with cafe, Energy station and the alpine facility at Nerskogen. - About 30 min drive to Oppdal city center. - Year-round hiking terrain just outside the door. Many opportunities for both hiking, skiing and cycling, and great terrain for mountain biking. - Ski in/out cross country skiing. Choose between miles of prepared trails from Minilla or top tours with mountain skis. - Older trip pulk for free use. - Eldorado for trail biking with varied and exciting trails. - Short drive to Granasjøen where you can both swim and fish. - On THE arch in Oppdal you can borrow hiking equipment, see Bua.
