The house has been completely renovated according to green building criteria, with a strong respect for the environment and a focus on energy efficiency. The materials have been carefully selected to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment, while maintaining the original characteristics of the place. The furnishings, recovered and selected, enhance the colors of wood, brass, copper, and pastel, creating a warm and slightly retro atmosphere. The wrought-iron grilles on the windows add a historic touch, casting fascinating plays of light on the wooden floor. The sheets, in cotton and linen, are processed in such a way as to enhance the characteristics of the fabric, avoiding ironing, in line with the choices of respect for the environment and reduction of consumption that characterize all aspects of Ca' Maggiolina. In the rooms, by our precise choice, you will not find a TV; however, a fast and free wifi connection is available, guaranteeing comfort and modernity without compromising the quiet and sustainable atmosphere of the house. Guest access The M3 subway will take you to Piazza Duomo in 15 minutes, with the "Sondrio" stop located just 150 meters from the property. The central station and the bus terminals for the airports of Milan (Malpensa, Bergamo, and Linate) can be reached on foot in 15 minutes. Within a radius of 150 meters, you will find tram stops (lines 5 and 10), buses (lines 42, 43, 81) and trolleybuses (lines 90, 91, 92). We will welcome you personally; check-in is available from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, with the possibility of check-in after 8:00 p.m. by appointment only. Check-out must be by 10 a.m. on the day of departure. We are sorry that we cannot accommodate people with disabilities due to the structure of the house. Upon check-in, guests must provide valid ID and will receive the key to the booked room. Before arrival, a door opening code will be provided, valid for the entire duration of the stay, which replaces the key to the property, allowing you to enter and exit the B&B in total autonomy and without time restrictions. You can leave your luggage locked and tidy in a special room by 10:00 a.m. at no cost. In the event of an unarranged check-out after 10:00 a.m., with related inconvenience for guests or service staff, an additional fee will be charged in cash. Other things to note Breakfast, which also includes a savory part, is served from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Guests can communicate any special needs, allergies, or intolerances at the time of booking. In line with the manager's personal choices, only vegetarian food will be served. Yogurt, honey, jams, bread, eggs, cheeses, milk, cereals, fresh fruit, and muesli are available to guests, while tea or coffee from a moka pot will be served according to individual preferences. Rooms are cleaned daily from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and towels are changed every three days. Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the property, including the rooms. You are kindly requested not to eat meals inside the rooms. The kitchen is not available for guests; however, for special needs, it is possible to make arrangements directly with the manager.
