Enjoy this charming and unique stopover, ideally located in the heart of the Alsace vineyards, with a magnificent view on the Haut-Koenigsbourg castle. The house, a haven of peace surrounded by vineyards, is within easy reach of Bergheim and Riquewihr (both ranked among France's most beautiful villages), Ribeauvillé, Kaysersberg and Colmar. Breakfast available on site at extra charge (served on a terrace overlooking the vineyards on sunny days Wifi access The space House located in a typical Alsatian village, surroun-ded by vineyards, on the Alsace Wine Route. Facilities available: - 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (Queen size bed - 2 m long - new bedding), - 1 private bathroom with shower, WC, dressing table. - An extra bed can be added in one of the bedrooms to accommodate a maximum of 5 people. Beautiful view of Haut-Koenigsbourg castle from the house. Ideal central location for visiting and discovering the whole of the Alsace region. Guest access - Bedrooms and private bathroom - Garden or terrace: When the weather is fine, guests can enjoy either the garden or the terrace overlooking the vineyards (for Dinner) and a magnificent view of the Château du Haut- Koenigsbourg (table and and chairs at disposal). - Parking in front of the house: Parking is possible on the left-hand side in front of the house (parking space for 2 cars one behind the other) or along the the vineyard. During your stay We'll be sharing accommodation in the same house, so I'll be available during your stay, either directly (when I'm there) or by telephone. Here's a sneak preview of what's on offer: The village where I live is situated on the Alsace Wine Route, close to the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, but also to the villages of Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr (listed among of the most beautiful villages in France), Bergheim (Favourite Village of the French 2022 and also listed among of the most beautiful villages in France ), Kaysersberg, Eguisheim and Colmar. Enjoy a stay in a house located in the heart of the Alsace vineyards, during which you can combine discovering nature on foot or through bike rides (vineyards, Vosges mountains), cultural visits (Haut-Koenigsbourg castle, typical Alsatian villages and towns, eco-museum), fun discoveries (Volerie des aigles, Montagne des singes, Naturoparc - Stork reintroduction centre, Europa Park) and wellbeing (spa), combined with the discovery of gastronomy and good wine. And if you want to go a little further afield, there are easy links to Strasbourg (20 mins by train - 45 mins by car), Colmar (15 mins by car), northern Alsace (1 hour by car) and Germany. Other things to note Trust, sharing, good humour and respect will set the pace for your stay! As a native of Alsace, with a good knowledge of the region (I work in the tourism sector), I'll be delighted to help you discover an authentic Alsace full of charm. Ideally, you'll need a car to get around the area. However, it is possible: - from Sélestat train station (8 mins away), there are train connections to Strasbourg (20 mins away), which means you can easily visit Strasbourg while staying with me. Free parking is awailable in front of Sélestat train station ; ideal for a journey to Strasbourg, and this as well during the Christmas market period, - bus at the bottom of the village to Ribeauvillé and Colmar.
