🏡 Our little chalet is waiting for YOU ! 🏡 Warm, bright, and functional, it will be your charming little haven during your getaway to discover our beautiful region ! Perfect location near A40 motorway : reach Geneva in 15 min, Annecy in 30 min, Chamonix in 45 min. Ski resorts: Les Brasses 10 min (ideal for beginners/attractive lift pass) + Les Gets, Avoriaz, Flaine, Clusaz... en 30 min In a village with all local shops. SAUNA in the basement & JACUZZI in the adjacent garden (extra charge) The space 🏡 A typical 1980s log cabin, updated by us, with a trendy "mountain chic" style decor combining old-world charm and modernity, and above all, very bright! I wanted to shake off the cliché of the all-orange chalet of our ancestors! ☀️ A spacious 35m² living room bathed in light, thanks to its numerous windows and two skylights, is full of charm with its beautiful cathedral ceiling and stone wall. A large leather corner sofa is perfect for enjoying evenings by the fireplace (pellet stove), and there's a kitchen area with a central island. A 110cm TV offers Netflix and a fiber optic HD Wi-Fi box. 🌲 The open-plan kitchen is modern, functional, and fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and baking. Essential appliances like a raclette grill, fondue set, and griddle are also included. Everything is brand new! Basic cleaning supplies are also provided for your comfort. Two cozy bedrooms feature quality bedding and memory foam pillows. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen towels are provided. ☀️ The master bedroom with its panoramic mountain mural includes a 140x190cm bed and a wardrobe to store your belongings. 🌲 The second bedroom is smaller but functional, with a double bed (140x200cm) on the bottom and a single bed (90x200cm) on the top bunk. There's space to store suitcases under the bed. A semi-indoor/outdoor veranda with mountain views is perfect for afternoon tea with a good book or for evening drinks! Its string lights give it a remote, secluded feel. You can admire the scenery. There's a sideboard with board games, art supplies, an extension cord, shopping bags, and more. ☀️ Enjoy a 180° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains: Le Môle, the Grand Massif, Les Brasses, and the Aravis mountain range. The scenery is magnificent in every season. 🌲 Two south-facing outdoor terraces with shade if needed: outdoor tables and chairs, gas barbecue/plancha or electric tabletop griddle, outdoor corner sofa, and sun loungers. Large, private, wooded, and very well-maintained 1,000 m² plot, partially fenced. Other things to note 🌼 A little backstory... 🏡 This little chalet had belonged to our dear neighbor Jean-Pierre for over 50 years. When he passed away, as he had no heirs, we bought the plot of land to annex to our own and completely renovated the chalet, which was truly in its original state. ☀️ A second home is wonderful : we often host our family there, but for obvious financial reasons, the tourist rental business naturally followed. 🌲 As Airbnb travelers ourselves, we enjoyed taking on the challenge of being on the other side, and offering the most pleasant accommodation possible, thinking of every detail and putting ourselves in our guests' shoes... Small means but big ideas as they say ! 🌼 Hard work always pays off, we quickly became SUPER HOSTS and a TRAVELER'S FAVORITE, it's a great source of pride ☀️ However, the downside of this situation is that we have sometimes received people with disrespectful behavior and excessive demands… We put so much energy and love into it that it has deeply saddened us and we would like it to stop happening ! 🌲 We absolutely prioritize quality over quantity, we'd like to reiterate a few things for those who might be unsure (apologies in advance, the vast majority of our guests are wonderful and these lines shouldn't even need to be written). 🌼 Although you'll have your own space, this is still a homestay with the philosophy that goes with it : meeting new people, sharing, and above all, kindness. ☀️ As non-professionals, we do our best to provide quality amenities and services, but this is still our home, so we don't pretend to be on the same level as a standardized luxury hotel. We hope you'll appreciate this authenticity and our unique atmosphere. 🌲 We've focused on offering excellent value for money to please everyone. 🌼 Our listing is clear and detailed ; the description and photos present the property exactly as it is, nothing more, nothing less. If you have any doubts or questions, we're happy to answer them! ☀️ Our chalet is located in a residential area, the neighborhood is quiet, however, there is some noise: road traffic that varies depending on the season, barking dogs, gardening work, music... 🌲 It's impossible to prevent all the unimaginable technical or weather-related problems beyond our control, which are simply part of life's uncertainties, but please know that we will do everything we can to resolve them as quickly and efficiently as possible, since we also live here ! 🏡 🙏🏻
