The tiny Red Guesthouse Tomida is ready to welcome you in the middle of the paddy fields ! The village of Iwamura is about 20 min by walk, iibama station is about 20-25 min by walk but we can pick you there (5 min by car). Check the other listings of our guesthouse to get a view of the surroundings ! The space The Red little house of Guesthouse Tomida is recent. Cool air conditioner available during summer and electrical warm floor heating during winter. A washing machine is available in the bathroom, equipped with a shower unit. (no bath) Behind the house you can enjoy BBQ - extra fees. Guest access Kitchen, WC, shower, washing machine, open space with TV are shared. During your stay Keiko can speak a little English and of course Japanese ! Yuka, her daughter, can speak French & English (not always here). Keiko and her family live in the house next to the dependence. She likes to bring her guests to some typical Japanese places. Other things to note To go to Magome / Tsumago I recommend you to leave around 8 am. If you get all the trains and shuttle bus in time, it is about 1h20. Basically : iibama station -> (25-30min) Ena station -> (5 min) nakatsugawa station -> (25 min) shuttle bus to one of the villages Waiting time can be bothersome, so think about taking a book !
