Peaceful Meadows “Home away from home”

Get away from it all when you stay under the stars. For some peaceful moments you can take a short stroll on the trails around the property. You can enjoy a peaceful day of fishing at the pond which is well stocked with crappie, bass, shell cracker, and catfish. We practice catch and release here on the property. But if you want to cook up the catch of the day as the main course that’s ok as well. Then kick back and sit around the camp fire with s’mores and looking at the moonlight. The space Charming one bedroom rustic cabin. Our Cabin has a mini splint in it so it will keep you warm in the winter and cool in the summer. We just added a new queen size bed. The cabin also has high speed internet. So weather you want to stream a movie or take care of a task at work , it should not be a problem. The cabin has a deck off the back with a gas grill. Also equipped with microwave, air fryer, K-Cup coffee, two burner stove top and camp oven. Kitchen has paper products as well as glass ware. Plenty of clean towels and linens. After a long day of fishing you can take a nice warm shower, then kick your feet up and watch the evening news on 55 inch TV. Also if you need something that is not in the Cabin please just let me know because we may have it at the main house. Guest access We are located in the heart of rural fluvanna county. We have very little traffic but once on the property you only hear the sounds of Mother Nature. There is plenty of parking at each site. Other things to note Once you arrive at our home, there is a sign at the end of the driveway that says Barker. You are at the correct address. Please follow the gravel driveway past the house , continue past the two large buildings and then you will bare to your left and you will start to see everything open up. As you continue you will see several camping areas and the Cabin is on the right. As a FYI the other small dark building is an outdoor bathroom . This is for our camping visitors but if you want to check it out feel free. There is also a commercial Porta Potty down by the pond just in case you cannot make it back up the hill. We try to keep both of them well cleaned and stocked.
