We can accommodate up to 24 people for an overnight stay. Ready for business or pleasure, the amenities of this rustic feeling lodge are extensive. Take a 15 minute drive from your lodge to visit Ash Cave, Old Man's Cave, Cedar Falls, Rock House, Conkle's Hollow, or Rock Bridge located in Hocking Hills State Park. No matter the season, you and your guests won't be disappointed when visiting all the beauty Hocking Hills offers! The Mountain Lodge is located 15 miles from Athens and Ohio University. The nearby State Park offers over thousands of acres to explore by hiking, off-highway vehicle riding, mountain biking, or horseback riding. Guests will want to visit Athens and Ohio University or Nelsonville's Historic Square Arts District, Stuart's Opera House, Hocking Valley Scenic Railway, or the Nelsonville Music Festival that is held every year at Hocking College. If guests venture 5 mile to Lake Logan you can enjoy the lake with family and friends. 15 miles to Lake Hope State Park located in Zaleski State Forest. Guests can enjoy some fine dining at Lake Hope Lodge or a day of picnicking and swimming with family and friends. ATV enthusiasts can venture into Wayne National Forest for hundreds of riding trails; Parents and alumni can visit Ohio University; and our connoisseurs of nature MUST visit Old Man’s Cave, Conkle’s Hollow and Rock House located in the beautiful Hocking Hills, named as one of BuzzFeed's Stunning Under-the-Radar Destinations to Add to Your Bucket List. Any additional guest, is an additional $25 per night per guest. If the correct guest is entered at the time of reservation, rates are automatically populated. If incorrect guest count is entered, reservation must be updated. Children 3 and younger stay for free. 2 Night minimum for Weekend stays – Friday, Saturday & Sunday. Holiday rates apply for Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July, Labor Day Weekend, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s. The taxes associated with the rental are 13.25%. We have both 7.25% sales tax and 6% lodging tax. IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT PROPERTY: -- SWIMMING POOL ---- The swimming pool is only open and available for use from Memorial Day Weekend (late May) to Labor Day Weekend (early September). When our pool is open, guests are required to sign a “Pool Use Agreement and Release, Waiver of Liability Agreement” at the time of check-in. -- ADDITIONAL FEES: ---- PET FEE: we allow up to 2 dogs at the property and require a $50 pet fee per dog (non-refundable). When going through the booking process, this is an option. If not added at the time of booking, we will request a payment. ---- Early Check-In: $25 fee per hour, up to 2 hours early. **must get approved. Management has ability to deny early check-in. ---- Late Check-Out: $25 fee per hour, up to 2 hours late. **must get approved. Management has ability to deny early check-in. ---- Shipping Fee: If guests leave items behind & they want it shipped back, guest is responsible for cost of shipping + $10 shipping fee. ---- Add Ons: Guest has ability to add on a variety of different add-ons, such as: Firewood Bundles, Dozen Roses, Bed of Rose Petals, Mixed Flower Bouquet, & a variety of other baskets.
