Nestled among the trees with hillside views on a quiet country road 15 minutes outside of Hudson, Oak Hill is the perfect spring oasis. The home is renovated with mid-century charm and modern conveniences — an ideal spot to work or relax. The open floor-plan living area has tall skylit ceilings, oversized windows and wrap-around deck overlooking the valley. Take a morning walk up the road, take a dip in High Falls, grab breakfast at Cafe Mutton or cozy up in front of the wood-burning stove. The space Oak Hill is suited for families, friends, couples or solo-travelers. The Primary Bedroom (king bed) and Primary Bathroom (skylight, Jolie-filter shower) are upstairs. The Guest Bedroom (queen bed) and Guest Bathroom (bathtub/shower, washer & dryer) are downstairs. Also downstairs is the third Bedroom doubling as an Office with a standing desk, ergonomic seat, fast wi-fi, cork-boards and panoramic views. This room also has a sleeper sofa or blow-up mattress for extra guests. The Kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, tea kettle and plenty of dish and glassware. The Dining Room is drenched in natural light with a stone dining table, linens and bar perfect for a long lazy dinner. It opens to the Living Room with wood-burning stove and projector for movie nights in. Our guidebook is filled with favorite eating, drinking, movement and kid-forward activities. Or spend your time at the property itself — fast wi-fi, extra blankets and coffee included. Guest access Guests have full access to the house with complete privacy. The drive will be plowed, the walk shoveled and salted, and the (electric) heat turned on before you arrive. Other things to note Check in is 3PM Check out is 11AM For kids there is a pack-n-play, baby gate, toys, books and a white noise machine. Responsible pets approved for an additional fee. Coffee, tea, water filter, toiletries, firewood and kindling are provided. There is an automatic backup generator that supplies the entire house / well / heat should the power go out.
