Dragonfly Antique Home- Walk to Ocean Beach

This charming, antique captain’s colonial captures the elegance of yesteryear with the amenities and features of today. Relish the fine detail and craftsmanship this 1890s historic home has to offer featuring wood floors throughout and hand-crafted finishes. Plenty of delicacies in New London to dine-in or take out, or stay home and enjoy using the modern, expansive kitchen. The space A brisk walk away from the coastline and Ocean Beach Park, New London ( South ) is home to a beautiful collection of historic restaurants and shops. Also just around the corner is Ocean Beach for you to enjoy. This home is a short drive away from the famous Mystic, CT, as well as Foxwoods/Mohegan Sun Casinos. Other nearby amenities include vineyards, breweries, parks, and hiking all within a half hour drive. Take the ferry right out of the Thames River to relax or adventure on Block Island for the day. The patio, pergola, and yard space make for a great place to hang out and play yard games. It sleeps up to 12, the sunroom on the first floor has a queen foldout bed with three bedrooms (two queen and two twins) third-floor family room with a fold-down sofa and floor mattress if requested. Radiator heated (for winter) ceiling fans & some window AC units. Half bath located on first floor. The fireplaces are not operational. Please note there is an old steam radiator heating system in place. It makes a bit of noise when the pipes are heating up in the winter if you are not used to this type of heat. Guest access Uber and Lyft available Other things to note We have outdoor surveillance devices that record, none in our house. This if for safety and security for both you and us. We do not allow location filming on the property. An Extra cleaning fee may apply for larger gatherings at the property. Bridal parties, family gatherings, etc….This is to cover the extra cleaning and garbage dumping.
