The beach is at the bottom of the hill below the flat & the property includes use of indoor pool, jacuzzi & tennis courts. The space Welcome to 20, The Crags, a stunning recently refurbished two bedroom apartment with outstanding ocean and countryside views from every room. The owners have created a tranquil and luxurious ambience using natural colours, organic textures and gorgeous fabrics to create a stylish and homely retreat for your Cornish getaway. The property offers two private balconies which each have breathtaking views over the ocean horizon towards St Mawes, St Anthonys Head and beyond. These views also take in Maenporth’s beautiful nature reserve where you can often spot our local heron and peregrine falcon going about their day. The beautifully designed bedrooms and the open plan living area have direct access to the balconies through sliding glass doors. They provide the perfect place to sit outside and enjoy the views with morning coffee or early evening drinks. The brand new open plan kitchen, lounge and dining area are modern and bright, with smart TV, huge and comfy L-shaped sofas and a cosy reading corner with a generous squishy armchair to curl up in. This practical and sociable layout is all expertly pulled together with lovely decorative detailing including reclaimed wooden shelving and beautiful local art works. We particularly love the gorgeous dining area with its bench seating and overhead industrial style lighting. This all opens out onto the balcony with alfresco "Lazy Susan' dining table and chairs. Just beautiful. The master bedroom offers direct balcony access with outdoor seating area, a generous king-sized bed and brand new en-suite with beautiful walk in shower wash station and WC. The second twin bedroom is cleverly laid out with private reading lights, end to end full sized single beds, under bed storage and again, direct access to the balcony seating. This gorgeous and thoughtfully designed apartment provides for all your holiday requirements including the inclusive use of an immaculately kept 15 metre indoor heated swimming pool, a jacuzzi and sauna. A games room with table tennis and pool table (also free), two all weather tennis courts (with free racket and ball hire) and a well maintained playground for the kids. The apartment is situated just minutes walk from stunning Maenporth beach with it's wonderful cafe, surf, kayak, beach yoga and paddle-board (SUP) school. We even have a wetsuit wash area at the swimming pool too. No.20 is situated at the front of the estate facing the sea. Within quiet estate grounds, with mature exotic and sub-tropical gardens with wonderful wildlife and views and easy off street parking. Recycling and refuse on site. 8 wide external steps from the parking to the property itself. On site EV charging is available next to the swimming pool which is around 1 minute walk away. The apartment has good accessibility with a one step entrance, no steps within the property itself and 6 wide cement stairs with low wall from the car-parking area to the building. On beach parking is available all year. Free in low season and £4 a day during the summer and holiday months. There are 6 official walks starting from Maenporth Estate taking in Rosemullion, Swanpool, Durgen, Helford Passage, Falmouth Docks and Pendennis Castle. Other things to note The Maenporth Estate is in a stunning coastal location overlooking Maenporth Beach. A picturesque golden sandy beach, safe for swimming, with rock pools, caves and even a shipwreck to explore at low tide! There are beautiful walks you can take right from your front door, along the South West Coast footpath, and easy access to the rest of Cornwall. Our woodlands have spectacularly tall Monterey pines as well as cypress, oak and beech trees. The gardens, leisure facilities and play areas are all exceptionally well maintained throughout the year. Check in is from 4pm Check out is 10am For those travelling with little ones a travel cot and high chair are provided in the cupboard in the living room area. Please bring your own baby bedding and extra travel cot mattress if you require one. All bed linen and towels are provided for use inside the property only. Please bring your own swimming and beach towels. Access to the exclusive Estate is via a security gate ( code sent close to arrival) and a key safe outside the property. We also send you an online registration form to fill in when you arrive. There is plenty of free off road parking, on site recycling, a wetsuit wash, and EV charging points are available for you to use next to the leisure centre (approx one minute walk) Please see instructions in the house manual... Please note that each of the properties on the estate have hot water provided by electric immersion tanks. These heat up overnight and can also be boosted during the day. This means that the hot water can run out if you have deep baths or shower in succession. Please reheat the tank after using and be mindful of the fact that the hot water is not endless or instant. Extra showers are available at the swimming pool during opening times.
