Corte Kalìnora (from the Griko 'Kalì n'òra', literally 'Court of the Good Hour') is a historic residence dating back to the late 18th century. It has been restored to its original architectural style following a meticulous and patient renovation, which has returned it to its former splendour and given it the minimalist, contemporary style that characterises it today. The heart of the house is the typical "Salento courtyard", with two ancient stone stairs that lead to the guest rooms and an intimate outdoor terrace. The space This property offers a high level of comfort, ideal for business stays or poetic reflection. The room is characterized by the presence of the "cantune", a large fireplace flanked by the traditional stone kitchen, where our grandparents used to warm up or prepare food using the warmth of the burning tizzones. Pets are not allowed. Breakfast, when included in the cost of the night, can be made without time limits at the affiliated bars, reachable on foot a few meters from the property. Other things to note All rooms at Corte Kalìnora are designed to offer maximum comfort and well-being, thanks to a quality decor characterized by a minimalist style and a simple but refined design. The furniture, with defined and linear geometric shapes, is handcrafted in fine solid wood, as well as external fixtures and interior doors. The "raw" plastered walls in white, natural wood veins, and soft textile colors create a welcoming and light atmosphere. To ensure optimal rest, the beds are large, equipped with pure latex mattresses with hypoallergenic energy coating, four soft cloud-effect pillows, and orthopedic nets with wooden slats. The mini fridge is noisy and the air conditioners, extremely quiet, include a device that ionizes the air, purifying it from impurities or allergens, and "sleep" programs for an ideal climate during sleep. The bathrooms are equipped with a sink and sanitary ware with a clean design and essential lines, a transparent glass shower cabine with a large rain shower head and a chrome steel faucet, all of excellent workmanship made in Italy. Textiles, both bed and bath, are made of pure cotton, ensuring a touch of luxury and comfort.
