Description
Featured in Grand Designs, this eco-community is just a mile from the city centre but surrounded by green and quiet space. It’s a 3 bed family home, not a show house, so it’s warm, comfortable, quirky and very well equipped. The open plan living-dining-kitchen area is stylish, cosy and great for get togethers. You have your own private back garden and parking on the front drive. We’re 20 mins from the city, and close to funky eating places, pubs, independent shops, and amazing street art. The space The house is warm and comfortable, and is a great place to gather with friends and family. There’s a large, airy living-dining-kitchen that opens onto the patio and south-west facing back garden, lovely for tea in the afternoons or a drink on a warm evening. The garden is lit with fairy lights for a magical atmosphere. There are three bedrooms: the main double with a very comfy bed, cotton bedding and a down quilt, and hanging space and drawers for your stuff. The second double bedroom is a mezzanine - a lovely private hideaway that gets the morning sun (this room is not suitable for small children). The third double bedroom also gets the morning sun, and has fairy lights for a cosy and intimate atmosphere. The bathroom has a large bath (big enough to share) with a fabulous rainfall shower over it. The floors are solid oak throughout the house, which gives a warm welcoming gleam when you arrive, with lots of rugs to make it cosy. I love to ensure my guests have a great stay in my home. Review comments include: “Blown away by how wonderful this Airbnb is! A beautiful community area, quiet and peaceful, unique” - Flo, August 2024 “Trish was the best Airbnb host I’ve experienced, so friendly and kind” - Iris, April 2024 “We’ve stayed in lots of Airbnb’s and she’s my favourite host!” - Lindsey, Oct 2023 “It is amazing that there is an Airbnb in Bristol that is actually wheelchair accessible!” Luke, Feb 2025 Guest access You have use of the whole house, including the garden and driveway (with parking for one car). The cupboards and freezer are full with my food stores which are not for guest use, but you are welcome to use tea, coffee, sauces, pickles etc, and all the other standard store cupboard items, if you want to cook. The kitchen is very well equipped, as I love to cook and entertain, and you are welcome to use all the equipment. Other things to note The house has step free access at the front, and the ground floor is usable in a wheelchair. However, there are 2 steps down from the back door to the rear garden.
