This timber framing house ( « Fachwerkhaus ») dating from 1740 is a national monument, located inside the historic ring walls of the former hill castle of Reifferscheid, overlooking green hills and the white towers of the adjacent « Vorburg ». It is located in a quiet pedestrian street where you can also sit outside. In the middle of the Eifel, surrounded by a beautiful nature, on the south side of the National Park Eifel and the Rursee (the Roer Lake). During your stay (!) The kitchen is not for use by guests. If desired, the owner (who likes to cook) can offer you a breakfast and/or prepare a supper for you. Price: breakfast € 5,00p.p. / supper € 10,00 p.p. Please let know when you wish to have this. DUE TO COVID-19 THIS SERVICE IS TEMPORARILY UNAVAILABLE. However, breakfast and (small) meals can be enjoyed in the living room without any problems. Other things to note Free parking: For loading and unloading luggage, you can park your car directly at the back of the house for a short period of time. For long parking, one parking space is available just a few meters from the house, and several other parking spaces at the 'Mathiastor' (the main entrance to Burg Reifferscheid), located about 100 meters from the house.
