'The Little Barn' (Sleeps 5)

Beautiful 16th century stone barn conversion in a gated, former farmyard, nestling near the centre of the village. We live right next door, (10 metres away)and are happy to help and assist throughout your stay. The Little Barn, is completely enclosed, in the courtyard of the Manor House of the village, and has open views across the surrounding countryside. Full of period features Our area has many interesting activities nearby, such as horse riding, cycling etc. Whole Barn as shown in photo! The space We have the latest CCTV recordable system overlooking the property for guest's safety and security. The "Little Barn" is a quintessentially English, rural cottage, comprising of; * Fully equipped modern kitchen, with breakfast bar seating for 4 and a dining table with seating for 4, Cutlery, utensils, crockery and cooking equipment/appliances provided, including kettle, toaster, microwave, electric/multifunction fan oven, fridge, freezer, induction hob, dishwasher etc. There is currently, no washing machine in property, but a laundry service is available on request. Large Lounge, with three sofas, cozy blankets, 42" Smart TV and huge Inglenook fireplace with seating around. Please note that the fire is inoperative and for decorative purposes only. One double bedroom, with antique wardrobe, double bed and rocking chair, & large single daybed, leading to; One family bathroom/en-suite with shower, wash basin, & WC. Bathroom has two (Jack N Jill) lockable doors to bedroom and landing. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, an additional single bed can be provided upon request. Private en-suite, to bedroom two, comprising of shower, wash basin & WC. Free private WIFI accessible throughout the property. Front cobbled courtyard space with stable barn door access, bench and alfresco patio furniture (summer months only) for use of Little Barn guests only. Guest access The Little Barn is located in large gated courtyard for the safest car parking. We live right next door, (10 metres away) and are happy to help or assist you, to enjoy your stay. We are very well served by public transport, as buses pass the property, to the market towns of Rugby (The game was invented there) Northampton & Daventry. Mainline Railway Station (London Midland service to London & Birmingham is only 4.4 miles away at Long Buckby station. Journey times to London only just over one hour. Delivered car rental is available nearby. Crick village is located just off Junction 18 of M1 motorway Silverstone race track is 20 miles away Stratford on Avon & Warwick Castle are 38 minutes away The Cities of Coventry, Leicester, & Northampton 30 minutes Other things to note The Barn 'Little barn' was originally three stables and a hayloft, built in the 1600's along with the Manor Farmhouse, all built with Northampton stone & Brick which is up to two feet thick in places. The barn was converted to a house in 1997, and has just been refurbished. It is completely self contained, with safe parking and security under CCTV cameras. The lounge has a large working log burner as well as gas central heating, with a combi boiler. Towels and bedding provided, extra bedding available if required. An Info pack with all local amenities will be available at the Barn .Animals are strictly prohibited from the property. This is a non smoking property. Hosts live in the Manor House next door and are available for any help or support required to ensure guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Strictly, for insurance and other reasons, only guests who have booked with Airbnb and are staying are allowed in the premises. Visitors are not permitted without the owners permission..
