Gorgeous Waterfront Cottage on Rice Lake

We're so excited to invite you to Rice Valley Cottage. It will be a great lakefront expereinces for you and the family. Our cottage features more than 90 feet open water lakeshores, Gorgeous 3-bedrooms residence where you can realx, enjoy various water activities such as fishing, swimming, kayak and boating. Winter activities include ice-fishing, skating and easy access to Brimacombe ski resort. The cottage also 5-mins away from conservation parks, hiking trails, groceries and great restaurants. The space Kitchen A coffee brew machine, along with coffee filter, ground coffee and sugar are available. Common kitchenware is available, Including plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, folks and spoons. Kitchen appliances such as the stove, microwave and dishwasher are ready to use. Cooking pans, pots and spatulas are available. Please refrain from deep frying or indoor grills. The cottage indoor kitchen comes with a bare minimum ventilation system and cannot handle heavy smoke. Outdoor BBQ provides much better cottage cooking and gathering experiences. Bedrooms Two queen beds and one double bed are placed in the three bedrooms. One quilt, one bed sheet, one liner and two pillow sheets are provided in each bedroom. Guests should bring their own pillow case, sheets, towels, and bedding supplies due to covid-19 rules. Dining and Living Room Living room is equipped with a TV, coffee table and couches. More than 300 TV channels are available for the guests. Please note on-demand channels are disabled. Dining table fits 6-8 people. If you need to pull the table out, please lift it off the ground before moving around, to prevent damages to the hardwood floor. Bathroom Two full bathrooms are located on the first floor, and in the basement respectively. Both bedrooms are equipped with standing showers. Bath gel and shampoo are provided. *You have to bring your own towels* Outdoor facilities, BBQ, Paddles etc Important safety note - Please keep safety in mind when using the BBQ outdoors. Never move the BBQ and propane to a different location; Do not leave BBQ unattended while in use; Always turn off the propane gas switch after each use. Do not let kids come close by to the BBQ. There are one kayak (1 person) and 1 Canoe (3 persons) available for you to use. Please note: You MUST sign a waiver before entering the property. It is completely your own risk and liability when using any of the equipment. You MUST wear a life jacket (find it in the boathouse) and bring the emergency kits with you. You must bring the canoe / kayak back on to the shore to its original location after each use. They cannot be left in the lake. Word of caution - Rice lake is big and the waves can get pretty nasty on summer days. Do not attempt boating during bad weather. To access the boat house for the paddles and life jackets, you can get the key that hangs on the wall at the cottage entrance. You must put the key back to where it is when leaving. Boat house MUST remain closed overnight. No fishing cleaning allowed indoors. All fish cleaning must be done outdoors and you need to properly seal and store fish remains and take them with you when you leave the property. There are multiple access to the backyard - Please make sure you close all windows, and lock all the doors before you leave the property. Parking There is 2 owned parking and 1 street parking space.
