Solitude at Homeward Farm

Stay in this 1960's Hunting Cabin located halfway up a mountain. Extremely private with incredible views of the Peaks of Otter and Bedford County. 2 miles of hiking trails, stocked fishing pond. If you love the cabins at Mountain Lake Resort or the cabins at The Greenbrier Resort, then you will love our cabin. We include basic charcoal and grill supplies, sheets and towels and a full service kitchen with all of the utensils for cooking a family meal. Let "Solitude" rejuvenate your soul. The space This cabin is secluded yet, only a 5 or 6 minutes drive from the town of Bedford. The rooms are cozy each has a gas heater or fireplace for those nippy evenings. The great room also has a gas fireplace. Guest access There is one way in or out. That being a gravel driveway. There is parking for larger vehicles at the top of the driveway and a parking area near the cabin that can handle smaller vehicles ingress and egress is no problem either way Other things to note We will be happy to help with directions to attractions, shopping, restaurants, etc.
