Corporate housing, relocating to the area? Our “Old Charmer” 3 bed/2bath casa (home) sits on a residential street with driveway parking in west Beaumont and zoned to the best schools like Regina Howell. Large, fenced backyard for your four legged family plus added huge concrete padding w large gazebo with mosquito netting to enjoy the breeze. Close to dining, shopping on Dowlen St. and less than 8 miles to Exxon Refinery/Plant or Shell. Short commute to Pt Arthur and additional refineries. The space As you walk up to our “sunshine door”, you will notice the large covered front porch. Once inside, tile throughout the front living spaces and hallway. The living room is nicely appointed with leather couch, recliner and “old timey” Amish rocking chair. Large ottoman for both kicking your feet up sans shoes please or extra seating. The large screen Smart TV is centered so you can view from inside the kitchen, while prepping a meal for yourself or the family. There is a fun, bright desk for remote working or to allow the kids space to do their schoolwork. The kitchen/dining room also has additional seating (known as a Keeping Room in the South). This space has a pocket door to the living room for additional privacy or quiet time. This groovy kitchen is stocked with China dishes, flatware plus pots/pans and a few mixing bowls and other cooking essentials. Mr Coffee drip coffee maker and plenty of coffee mugs and tea cups. We even have a few spices for our guests to use during your stay in the pantry. Guest access Guests will have full use of the entire home, backyard and front yard. Garage is the only space that is locked and off limits, except for using the washer/dryer. Other things to note This is an older home that we are slowly renovating. Recently the bathrooms have been updated with new vanities...although we kept some of the original tile as we love the 60s throwback reminder. Bedroom floors have all original parquet hardwood flooring just recently lovingly restored and refinished. The kitchen cupboards and cooking appliances are original to the house but are in working order (stovetop has 2 working burners and we are searching for a retro replacement but there is an electric 2 burner appliance under the cupboard). It feels a bit like an updated time warp and we added to that charm with fine China dishes and a few other nostalgic items. As many old houses there will be creaks and imperfections but the value one receives far outweighs the minor imperfections of an older home. With 3 bedrooms, we will have 1 king bed in the primary, 1 queen bed in bedroom 2 and 2 twin XL bedd in the 3rd bedroom. There are 2 bathrooms. The hall bath has a shower/bath combo and the primary bed en suite has a shower. There is a large enclosed backyard for your fur baby! Garage houses the washer and dryer, and available for guests to use. There is an active camera inside that may be recording audio/visual. Locked storage closet inside the garage is not for guests use. Plenty of parking in the lighted driveway and street for your stay.
