A pagoda style private studio that is breezy with an ocean view. It is walking distance to the village of La Jolla and the world renowned Cove Beach. The house was built in the early 1920’s by a woman who did missionary work in Asia and was fascinated by the architecture. It is nestled at the foot of Country Club Drive in a quiet residential neighborhood and is very close to an excellent selection of bars and restaurants that are about a 10-20 minute walk away. Private studio & bathroom We are a local family from La Jolla and this property has been in our family for 45+ years. We have great recommendations for restaurants (lunch and dinner), cafes, sights to see, rental companies, hikes nearby and any other local favorites. Please let us know what we can provide you with! Check in: Once you see the Welcome sign please go up the stairway. You will see a lock box to the left of the door where the key will be located. We will give you the code on the day of your check in date. Check out: When you check out please put towels, sheets, and pillow cases piled up in the corner. Make sure all lights are turned off and open all windows. Also, please put all dishes that were used during your stay in the sink. Please feel free to use the driveway in front of the green garage door. I travel for work so there will be times that I will not be available in person, however there will be a contact number of someone to help in the event there are any questions. This is a family friendly high-end residential area in the village of La Jolla, California. We ask that you respect our neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. The ocean restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. 20 minutes to downtown San Diego and The San Diego International airport and close to all tourist attractions. There is plenty of street parking available and there are car rental agencies in the area along with Lyft and Uber. Please feel free to enjoy the breakfast items and snacks that are in the cupboards underneath the microwave and kettle. Additionally, we have included some games and puzzles in the dresser underneath the TV.
