Relaxing Lakeside Home 5 Brdm 7 Beds *HOT TUB*

Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people. The space The view here is absolutely gorgeous! It never gets old because when you're on the water, it’s always changing. We frequently see bald eagles, ducks and geese in the summer and you may be lucky enough to see a coyote, fox or an occasional wolf out on the ice in the winter. Please note the house has a fireplace, but it is not functional. Guest access We have ample parking for 3 trucks with snowmobile trailers if you are looking to come snowmobile. We only ask that you don’t drive your sleds on our or the neighbors' yards. Please only ride snowmobiles on the driveway and road where the snow is cleared. There are numerous water spigots and rocks in the yards and the grass takes a beating. Other things to note Our home sits on 200 feet of southern exposure lakefront footage on Portage Lake. This area is full of outdoor adventures year-round: hiking, biking, kayaking, golfing, fishing, sunsets and campfires in the summer, and downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling in the winter when we typically get between 200 to 300 inches of snow.
