Kiwi Surf Cabins are located right at Kaikoura’s surf breaks on Kiwa Road, Mangamaunu. We offer beautiful beach accommodation for up to 2 guests in our stylish private cabins. Our surf and stay is epic for adventurous travellers who especially love nature, the ocean and surfing! You will enjoy stunning ocean and mountain views! Gorgeous sunrises and spectacular evening stargazing! The space Kiwi Surf and Stay is located right on the waterfront at Kaikoura’s famous surf breaks on Kiwa Road - 10km north of Kaikoura in Managamaunu. Surf and relax with spectacular sea, native forest and mountain views. We are the first home on Kiwa Road, you can’t miss it! We have two brand new accommodation cabins with private facilities (sunrise and sunset) that are located close to our private home (we live here, please don’t walk around the house) The cabins have a fridge, microwave and coffee/tea making and cooking facilities with outdoor patio to soak in the amazing surroundings. New Queen size modern ply bed with new luxurious Winkle mattresses. Clean crisp ironed linen and feather duvet to snuggle in at night. The outdoor space catches the beautiful Kaikoura sunrise looking out to the beach and mountains. Take a walk along the beautiful secluded surf beach where you can find and take home a stunning Kaikoura paua shell, spot a few seals, wake up early for the sunrise and you might see dolphins playing. Sit out at night, relax in our spa and take in magnificent views. Stay up to watch the Milky Way and star gaze! We also have a skate ramp! Each cabin is listed separately with Max 2 guests per cabin Guest access Access to Kiwi Surf Experience - Kaikoura’s only surf school (summer only) Skate ramp and spa pool. Surf Hire available, Private facilities, Outdoor Patio area. Surf breaks along Mangamaunu, North Kaikoura wildlife including the famous baby seal pups. Close to famous crayfish caravan - Nins Bin and Ohau seal colony and wildlife sanctuary. Paua and Cray diving (paua is seasonal) Hapuku bike track is very close. Puhi-Puhi Valley walking track. Other things to note Kiwa Road is not sign posted (signs get stolen) so use your Phone Map if your not familiar with the area. You will see the Urupa (maori cemetery as you drive into Kiwa Road. Drive over the railway line and we are not far up from there. First house on the right. You will see the two cabins as you arrive. SUNRISE is the closest to the sea. This booking is for the SUNSET CABIN. There is a train track that runs along the back of the property, there maybe. 1 or 2 trains that go past at night so don’t be alarmed. Please be respectful of noise if there are other guests in the next door cabin.
