Usual Resort Keyanz is a renovated traditional Japanese house from 1937, located in Keya. It's a 3-minute walk to the sea and a 10-minute walk to "Totoro's Forest." The guesthouse is highly accessible, taking about an hour by car from Fukuoka Airport or Hakata Station, making it convenient for all travelers. The space □■Five Features■□ ＜Experience Retro Japan!＞ The house features a Kamado Room and an attic room, offering a unique, nostalgic atmosphere. Cooking rice in the kamado room and enjoying the planetarium in the attic room are big favorites with the kids! ＜Two Bathrooms!＞ In addition to a bathroom with a bathtub, there is also a tiled shower room. There are also two toilets with bidet showers. ＜Japanese Garden Renovation!＞ We renovated it into a slightly modern Japanese garden with hedges and a chozubachi (stone water basin)! It’s a wonderfully soothing space. ＜Fully Equipped Facilities!＞ You can cook in a modern kitchen with plenty of appliances, cookware, and tableware. A free washer and gas dryer make long stays easy. Each room also has air conditioning and heating (6 units total). ＜Perfect for Workations!＞ For a fee, we have a projector (￥1100), an 80-inch screen (￥550), and a whiteboard (￥550). Free high-speed Wi-Fi (334 Mbps) is also available. □■About the Property■□ *The main house, about 200 m² with 7 rooms, is available for exclusive use. *The maximum number of guests is 10 (excluding children under 2). Children aged 2 and over are charged the same as adults. *Although it is a traditional house, the kitchen, bathrooms, and toilets are equipped with modern facilities for your comfort. Three air purifiers are also provided. *The bedroom has two single beds. Up to 8 guests can sleep on futons in the Japanese-style rooms. *Meals are not included. Please enjoy cooking in the kitchen, which is equipped with cooking appliances, basic seasonings, cookware, and tableware. The system kitchen has a built-in IH stove, fish grill, dishwasher, and a sink with a water purifier. *A portable gas stove (with gas canisters), grill plate, hot plate, shabu-shabu/mizutaki pot, and sukiyaki pot are also provided—perfect for enjoying meals together with your own ingredients. *Bath towels, hand towels, shampoo, conditioner, body soap, toothbrush sets, hairbrushes, shower caps, razors, hair dryers, tissues, slippers, and bedding (duvets) are provided. (Please note: no yukata robes.) *Parking for 2 standard cars is available behind the main house. For a third car or larger vehicles, please use the parking lot located about a 2-minute walk away. Additionally, the kamado room is available as an optional extra (with an additional fee). Other things to note *There are no convenience stores or supermarkets within walking distance. It takes about 10 minutes by car to reach the nearest shops, so please keep this in mind. *The host resides in a separate building on the same property and will hand you the house keys directly at check-in. □■Experiences & Services ■□ *You can cook delicious kamado rice over a wood fire in the **kamado room**. The usage fee is ￥4400, which includes firewood. A host will be present to assist you with the fire, so you can relax and enjoy the experience. If you would like to use the kamado room, please contact the host in advance. Please note that guests must bring their own ingredients, such as rice. *You can enjoy charcoal BBQ on the covered terrace. The BBQ set usage fee is ￥3300 and includes a grill and charcoal. The host will set up the table and start the fire for you. Please bring your own food. If you would like to use the BBQ set, please contact the host in advance. *You can enjoy a campfire in the designated area. A fire pit and firewood set are available. The campfire set fee is 2,200 yen (including the fire pit and firewood). *A spacious attic room (about 46 m²) is available free of charge. It includes a planetarium, hammock, and leg massager. *Basic seasonings (soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mirin, cooking sake, vinegar, ponzu, ketchup, mayonnaise, Hondashi, consommé, chicken stock, salt & pepper, table pepper, ichimi, shichimi, black pepper, chili oil, salt, sugar, flour, potato starch, etc.) and three types of cooking oil are provided for your use. Complimentary coffee (ground) and Japanese tea are also available. □■Access■□ The guesthouse is about a one-hour drive from Fukuoka Airport and Hakata Station.
