Villa Stofero is a property with charm, style and history - a place to explore the Algarve and take a deep breath. The extensively renovated typical Portuguese quinta is quietly and secludedly located in the countryside and yet only 20 minutes' drive from the sea. The villa is 180 square meters, on the 2nd floor is the master bedroom, bathroom en suite and roof terrace. Top equipped kitchen. Pool with garden, sauna, bar and many places to linger, out-door bed, hammock - a holiday paradise. The space On the first floor, there are two more spacious bedrooms with a shared new bathroom. Next to it is the spacious living-dining area with an open fireplace, TV, Hi-Fi and sound system. There is also another guest toilet on the first floor. In the library, a large collection of books, games and CDs is at your disposal. The kitchen is perfectly equipped. A dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, stove, oven, toaster and coffee maker are a matter of course. With a specially installed filter system, the tap water is treated and can be used as tasty drinking water. It is our contribution to sustainability and environmental protection, as you do not have to buy plastic water bottles. The property is located on a 3500 m² garden property with fantastic nature. It is one of three houses of the Estrella Montés estate. Almond trees, lush oleanders, olive trees, figs, lemons and gnarled baobab trees provide shade. Numerous places invite you to dream and linger. In addition, there are several roof terraces where you can have a wonderful breakfast or enjoy the sunset when the landscape is first bathed in fiery red and then in soft twilight. At night you will see a starry sky that is simply indescribable. Only the cicadas can still be heard and now and then the calling of the geckos. In front of the house is a covered veranda with barbecue, barbecue utensils and firewood. Viewing area, hammock and outdoor shower. There is also plenty of space for lavish meals. The wonderfully refreshing freshwater pool (8x4 m, up to 1.80 m deep), surrounded by oleander, is available for you and the guests of the other two houses of the estate to relax. The water quality of the pool is constantly checked and cleaned by a specialist several times a week. The pool can also be heated on request for a fee. The former bakery of the estate was redesigned into a bar, which is well equipped for cocktail mixing. Here you can also enjoy your aperitif and celebrate parties. Guest access The property is fenced, an automatically opening gate leads to the grounds where you can park comfortably. A rental car is essential here in the countryside. The walk to the village takes about ten minutes. Here there is a village pub with the most delicious toasts in the whole Algarve - promised! In a small shop you can buy the most important things for everyday needs. The bread baker also comes by twice a day. The nearest supermarkets are located in Boliqueime and Loulé in approx. 10 minutes by car. In Loulé, there is a daily market in the historic market hall with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. Other things to note - High-quality bed linens, as well as hand, bath, pool and beach towels are included in the price free of charge. - Free high-speed Wi-Fi is of course at your disposal. - If you are our guests for more than 7 days, you will receive a free cleaning of the villa with linen change weekly There is also a second smaller house on the premises, the Casa Saudade (for a maximum 4 people) - the original stable of the estate. This can be rented for larger groups, or it is rented separately. You will not feel disturbed, everything is spatially separated from each other and everyone has their privacy on the large property. The pool is also available to guests of Casa Saudade. But here, too, all guests have enough space and freedom. The pool can be heated on request. For this we charge 160 euros per week.
