The space The first beach house built in Venus Bay's Estate Two in 1957, this beauty will envelope you. Rescued from disrepair and tastefully renovated during lockdown. Original artwork graces the walls and a combination of designer, vintage and locally made furniture ensures a comfortable stay. A well equipped, modern, kitchen with Caesar stone bench tops, Smeg & Bosch appliances, and all the bits and pieces ready for the chef in you. The Rookery house and garden are yours to enjoy. Access will be given to the key safe with a combination for your stay. Parking for two cars onsite and metres from the door. Other things to note BOOKINGS For peak holidays (summer & school) minimum of 5 nights / 6 days unless there is a smaller gap between existing bookings. A minimum booking of 3 nights preferred on long weekends and a minimum booking of 4 nights applies over the Easter period and Melbourne Cup weekend. INFANTS Are truly welcome, and a high chair is available. There are no fire guards, and the deck has no railings - so their safety at all times remains your responsibility. SHED The shed where we keep our maintenance items is locked at all times. The Rookery is partially fenced. DOGS / PETS Dogs are most welcome along for the holiday as long as they stay off the furniture. There’s a good size dog bed for them on the deck and 2 x bowls. Please clean up after your dog. Cats are not allowed due to the abundance of bird life. The property is fully fenced. DAMAGE Damage, breakages or loss are your responsibility during your stay. Any damage or additional cleaning fees may be deducted from the security deposit. SMOKING / PARTIES Smoking or vaping is not permitted inside the house. Sorry, parties or gatherings of any kind are not tolerated and will result in the loss of security deposit. FIRE BANS On days of total fire bans – no outdoor fires will be allowed. However, guests are still allowed to use the gas-fired bbq located on the back deck.
