Cosy and comfortable apartment on the ground floor of a typical Amsterdam building (1888) in the very populair neighbourhood 'De Pijp'. 'De Pijp' as we Amsterdammers know it today is without doubt a melting pot of cultures and nationalities. The Pijp is known for the vividness of it, and almost feels like a little village inside the city. This apartment is a loft of 60 sq. mtrs. with your own bath, shower, kitchen en the cosy backyard with your own (partly covered) terrace. The Pijp is known for the vividness of it, and almost feels like a little village inside the city. De Pijp is brimming with fantastic cafés, culinair restaurants, coffee shops and bars. Within walking distance from the apartment you will find popular sites such as the Heineken Museum, the Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, The Royal Concerthall, Paradiso, Leidseplein and the Rijksmuseum.The Albert Cuyp market (just round the corner) is the most famous day market in Amsterdam. It will take about five minutes by foot to get to the center of Amsterdam. You will also be able to take the tram, stops are only a three minutes walk from the apartment. De Pijp is also known for it's shops, bars and muliticultural restaurants. The Sarphatipark and the Vondelpark are just around the corner. You will make it to the highway (A1, A2 and Ring A10) in just a couple of minutes. The apartment: Just two steps down from the street access to the large livingroom. The apartment is very spacious (60 m2) Inside you find a diningtable for four, a big lounge bank in front of a 43inch flat screen. The kitchen has a microwave, dish washer, Nespresso coffee machine, water boiler, fornace , a refridgerator and a washing machine. For kids we've got lots of toys, highchairs, baby beds. At the back of the apartment you find the bathrooms; a bath, a separated douche, a toilet and sink. Towels are provided. Next to the bathroom you find the large doublebed. Two single beds could be added (the double could be split in two). Two folding doors give access to the quiet lighted terrace (partly covered). The perfect way to explore Amsterdam is the typical Dutch way; by bike!. Two brand new bikes are included. More bikes could be rent for €10,- a day. For children we've got children bicycles and seats... Free Internet is available. You can find a lot of maps, guides and touristic books about Amsterdam. When you arrive the fridge is filled with basics, flowers and fruit on the table.... Make your own Nespresso, cups enough... The bakery (7 days open) is just across the street! Want a boat-ride? We offer you a private boat trip through the canals of Amsterdam with a pick-nick basket. If you want we can drop you wherever you want. We charge a reasonable price, 150 euro, for this private experience by locals. Just ask us! Some reviews; Emily and Brad:We also enjoyed a trip on the canals with Ester and Mark in their sloop. Again we were treated to fabulous hospitality not enjoyed on the mainstream tours. We can thoroughly recommend both the apartment and the canal tour and hope to be able to return for a much longer stay at some stage. Bruce:For an extra fee if the weather is right and they are available they will take you on a private boat tour of the canals complete with pillows snacks and drinks. You will feel like a movie star and was a highlight of our vacation! Brian:If you have the chance I would highly recommend the boat tour on Ester and her husband's boat. It was so much fun and we got to see all of Amsterdam by winding through all the canals. The price includes; -two brand new bikes -a filled fridge with basics (eggs,cheese,milk,juice,beer etc -fruit, flowers, snacks, drinks etc -cleaning fee -tourist tax (in Amsterdam 5,5% of the total rate!) -Possibility to store luggage when arriving early or leaving late NO EXTRA COSTS AT ALL!! Cozy and comfortable apartment on the bagane ground of a typical Amsterdam house from 1888. The apartment is around the corner from the famous Albert Cuyp market. De Pijp is a kind of village within the city with lots of cozy cafes and restaurants. Sarphatipark is 5 min away. Within 5 minutes you can walk to the large museums and the city center. Nearby is the tram stop to Central Station. The apartment; With two steps from the street you enter a spacious and comfortable apartment. Inside you will find; a dining table for 4, a spacious sofa opposite a flat screen TV. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and stove. In the back of the apartment are the bath, the shower, the toilet and the sink. In addition to the laundry areas, there is the large double bed. Two separate hotel beds can be added. In the back of the apartment you come with two French doors on the quiet illuminated terrace. The best way to discover Amsterdam is by bike. Two brand new Gazelle bikes are included as standard in the price. If necessary, more bicycles can be rented. Fancy a boat trip? Attached to the apartment is a spacious sloop. Sunk into the soft cushions while enjoying a drink, you are sailed through the canals. You can decide for yourself whether to be surprised by the guide. The cost for this private trip is 150€ for 2 hours. There is WIFI in the apartment. There are a large number of maps, guides, games and books of Amsterdam. When you arrive, the fridge is filled and flowers and fruit are on the table. The bakery (open 7 days) is just across the street...... Guest access Complete loft with terrace and free bikes, all private. Your own front door. The terrace is in a quiet backyard surrounded with all the houses from our neighbors. Please do not smoke your softdrugs here because of the smell and please don't make any loud noise especially early in the morning or after 10.00pm!
