Little House at Little Owl Farm, Gore Bay

Situated on a hilltop with magnificent all-round views of North Canterbury farmland, Gore Bay and the distant Kaikoura ranges, this self-contained house resides on a small scale organic vegetable farm. This characterful and supremely comfortable abode is double-glazed with a plush 3-seater lounge for taking in the views. There is a cook's kitchen, wood burner, stylish bathroom and outside seating on the deck to check out the speccy evening sunsets. It has wifi and all linen provided. Other things to note Be aware that you need to take all rubbish with you, as we don’t have rubbish collection here (we pay for council bags and need to drive our rubbish to Gore Bay for collection). As guests to the area, you can dispose of your rubbish in the Gore Bay bins for free! Our guest house bathroom has a top-of-the-range Swedish composting toilet that looks like a normal one.
