Take the trolley or ride the bikes downtown. We take pride in our condos (ask us about our other two on the top floor) and would love to share them with you on your next trip to Hawaii! Some of the features you will find in our updated condo includes cal king bed, two complimentary beach cruiser bikes, boogie boards, snorkels and masks, fishing gear, beach towels, sand toys, and binoculars to see the dolphins and whales that swim by right outside the sliding glass door. Also 46" wall mounted HD flat screen TV and cable, queen size pull out sofa bed (new August 2015), 4 person dinning table, microwave, convection oven, toaster oven, blender, coffee maker and bean grinder, as well as dishes and silverware, ceiling fans and a floor fan, handheld shower wand, blow dryer, hair straightener, hair curler, iron and steamer, dresser, closet with hangars, bedding, towels, etc. We also offer two beach cruiser bikes available for you to use. Feel free to let yourself in anytime after 4pm on your day of check-in, no need to visit a front desk or talk to anyone if you are looking for a little down time. We use private, unique codes for each guest to access their unit during the visit. The gated pool for the condo hardly ever has anyone there since it's such a small complex and you will find your key to access the pool inside of the unit. There is also a laundry on-site towards the park side with coin operated washer and dryer. Feel free to get in touch with us for any questions you might have or the on site Manager, Lori. Close enough to jog or ride the bikes, but far enough to avoid the hustle and bustle. The condo includes a complimentary designated parking space for you. We recommend renting a car if you would like to visit all the popular spots on the island. If you would like to just hang around in Kona and at the beach then you will be happy to hear there is a trolley that stops by in front of the condo and loops around town. Here is a link to their schedule (URL HIDDEN) There are no elevators at Kona Magic Sands, but we are on the ground floor so that keeps things easy for you after a long day. The beach next door has lifeguards on duty on busy days and the beach is known as Kona Magic Sands because the sand will occasionally wash out after a storm, but will wash back in all clean and white again.
