For your convenience, self check-in is available or we are happy & flexible to assist with your arrival & entry. The owner lives on property. We live on property & are happy to provide as much or as little interaction as you'd like! If you are having fur baby withdrawal our Munchkin fur crew are happy to share their love with you...just let us know! For a convenience store: We are 2.2 miles to Hirano's General Store- M-Su 7am-6pm. 8.9 miles to Kilauea General M-Su 6:30am-7:30pm. 9.3 miles to Volcano Store - M-Su 5am - 6:30pm. We are 9 miles south of restaurants in Volcano town that include: Thai, The Lodge (German), Lava Rock (Hamburgers), Lighthouse Cafe, Ohelo Restaurant. We are 11 miles south of Volcano's National Park, the second most visited tourist attraction in Hawaii next to Pearl Harbor in Oahu. The Rim restaurant & Bar are also located in the park. The Rim restaurant offers amazing views of the crater and a diverse menu. A breakfast buffet is served M-Sun. Hours are 7am- 10:30am. The Bar also serves a full menu & is open 11:30am-9:30pm. REPEAT LOCATION: We are located in HAWAII in the RAINFOREST/ JUNGLE/ OHIA FOREST at 2,300ft elevation on the lower SE side of the volcano named Mauna Loa and 11 miles SE of the upper side of the volcano named Kilauea. Both of these Volcanoes are considered "active". We are SECLUDED on 6 PRIVATE Acres. The Sky is Black at night & you can see ALL of the stars /milky way. Seeing shooting stars is very common. The Temperature is typically 80-70F @DAY & 60-50F @NIGHT ( We provide blankets & you provide body heat. This is a MAGICAL LOCATION. We are .7 mi. on a compressed gravel road. 1.4 mi. off MAIN Hwy 11 which goes around the island. 2.2 mi. to a Convenience Store open 5:45AM-6PM M-F and 7AM-6PM Sat-Sun. 4.8-11mi. W= 15 different Vocano town Restaurants. 19 mi E =the Panaewa Rainforest Hilo Zoo. 39 mi. SE = Black Sands Punalu'u Beach. 67 mi. SE = Green Sands Beach. PETS: We know you love your pet.
