Description

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature. The Barn Loft is nested in the original hayloft of a renovated horse barn giving the feeling of a treehouse. No one lives below the rental. The Loft hosts a French door entry into a kitchen/living room open floor plan with king mattress in the private bedroom. Cook your own meals in the fully stocked kitchen or propane grill, relax in the hot tub, and wake up to enjoy the complimentary coffee and tea. The space Nestled at the base of Grandfather Mountain in the scenic community of Foscoe, NC sits our cozy and relaxing Barn Loft on 30 private wooded acres. The 2nd floor unit is private and no one lives below. The cabin is centrally located to local attractions. 15-20 minutes to Boone, Blowing Rock, Banner Elk, Grandfather Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway, Sugar Ski Mountain. 30 minutes to Appalachian Ski Mountain, Beech Ski Mountain The indoor space has an open floor plan kitchen/living room, private bedroom with king bed and a full bath. The Barn Loft is ideal for a 1-2 people (1-2 small kids will be considered with an inquiry). The kitchen is well stocked with cooking utensils, plates, cups, mugs, knives, cutting board, pots and pans, coffee pot, French press, microwave, dishwasher, full refrigerator, and stove. Snuggle on the couch with a good book or watch a movie on the Roku TV. You can enjoy breakfast on the your private covered porch or build a fire in the lower fire pit. Relax in the hot tub or hammock nearby. This space is meant for people looking to relax and find peace in a wooded area away from the hustle and bustle. Guest access Parking is limited to two vehicles. There is a flight of stairs to the entrance. Door code is provided upon completing reservation. Other things to note The gravel portion of our road is bumpy and narrow. Sedan type cars do fine traveling here, but during snow season it would be best to have a vehicle with good clearance and front wheel, or four-wheel drive. We recommend AWD/4-wheel drive December-February. The drive in from 105 is mostly flat with only a couple of small hills. On a rare occasion you may need to back up for passing vehicles on the narrow road.
