The SUNNY SOUTH MAUI VACATION HOME is located in a residential neighborhood and guests must be aware and respectful of neighboring properties at all times. Noise carries at night and although our guests are on vacation, our neighbors are not, therefore ALL outdoor activities, including pool use, spa use or sitting outside on the patio and having conversations, must be brought inside the home by 9pm. Please be sure that ALL the members of your group are aware of the quiet hours and will be able to comply BEFORE booking this property. We want you to have a fantastic and relaxing time on Maui- we promise we won't impose many rules on you, but we respectfully ask that guests abide by the quiet hours restriction - is the most important of the very few rules! Tamara and Steve live just five minutes away from the home so if you need anything at all, we are here to help but we do not want to intrude on our guests. We are set up for self-check in and check out. The neighborhood is great because all the homes are on half acre plots, allowing for real privacy. The property is located about 750 feet above sea level, making it cooler at night. It's just a short drive to some of Wailea and Kihei's best beaches. There is a bus system on Maui but I would recommend renting a car to get around and the bus does not come to our neighborhood. The closest grocery store is Safeway or Foodland located in North Kihei about a 10 minute drive from our home.
