This condo is directly on the Gulf of Mexico with all views facing the Gulf. You have a private balcony viewing the Gulf and are just steps away from the beach! Update as if 03/08/2024: The POOL IS OPEN!!! As you know, Fort Myers Beach was hit by Hurricane Ian in September of 2022. It was a direct hit and the island was devastated. We are still recovering at this time. At the current time, Santini Plaza is not open which means no restaurants within walking distance of the condo. The CVS is open and that is within walking distance. The Publix on the island is now open. Our complex is open but is still under repair. Our condo has had all necessary repairs made and is beautiful including new air conditioner and painting and some new furniture. The pictures have been updated as of 02/08/2024. The beach is beautiful and there are many things to do within a short drive. The trolley is running and will take you the length of the island. We thank you for your patience during this time. The condo is in the Estero Beach and Tennis Club complex on the south end of the island, otherwise known as the “quiet” end. Fort Myers Beach was voted one of the top 10 safest beaches in the world on Travel Channel. It is a white sand beach and a beachcombers delight if you looking for seashells. The complex also includes a heated pool, the best tennis courts on the island, and new pickleball courts. There is parking on the complex. There is a trolley you can take that runs the length of the island. The condo is set up for families with children of all ages with books, movies, games, sand toys and noodles for the pool. There is a king bed and queen size sofa sleeper with an accordion door that can be pulled shut to make this 2 bedrooms. It is also perfect for that romantic holiday as it is very quiet and relaxing and the private balcony is also perfect for a glass of wine while watching the sunset. We even had a wedding proposal take place on the balcony this year and she said yes!! The condo is beautifully decorated and we keep everything updated for your enjoyment. The kitchen is completely furnished with stove/oven, microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, utensils, dishes, pots/pans, blender, toaster, etc. Linens are provided. There is a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. We have a queen size pull out sleeper and recliner in the living area. There is a table and chairs on the balcony so you can enjoy breakfast on the balcony and a kitchen table with 4 chairs in the kitchen. We have a new 55 inch TV with blue ray player with movies for all ages. Books, games and beach toys are supplied also. There are also beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, and beach umbrella for your use. This condo is your home for your entire stay. Everything is accessible to you to make this a very comfortable vacation getaway. Upon booking with us, all our contact information will be given to you. Should you need anything during your stay, I can be reached 24/7 and I also have a cleaning lady/maintenance person who lives in the complex itself, and she can be reached at any time. Her contact number is posted in the complex and will also be added to the confirmation you will receive after booking. Update as of 9/11/2023: The island is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Ian. Santini Plaza across the street where restaurants and shopping are is currently still closed. As far as other restaurants and grocery stores on the island, I am currently not sure if they are open yet but will have more of an update for you in November and will keep updating everyone of the status of the island. We are located on the south end of the island, so if you have a car you can drive to nice restaurants and grocery stores as well as other shopping via Bonita Springs and into Fort Myers. The complex itself is recovered so we do have new tennis courts and the addition of pickleball courts, heated pool, etc. *** The complex also includes a heated pool, the best tennis courts on the island, shuffle board and BBQ grills that are all for your use as our guest. There is parking on the complex. Across the street is the Santini Plaza and marina. There are shops and restaurants across the street and with the marina right there you have access to sightseeing tours and fishing trips within walking distance. Also within walking distance is a golf course. In the middle of the island you can rent mopeds and bikes. A short walk down the beach will bring you to parasailing and Jet Ski rentals. Take the trolley for only 50 cents and ride down to the north end of the island and go out on the pier and enjoy Times Square. After spending the day on the very busy end of the island, take the trolley back to you peaceful and quiet getaway. The condo is set up for families with children of all ages with books, movies, games, sand toys and noodles for the pool. There is parking directly on the grounds. There is a trolley that runs the entire length of the island for 50 cents. You can also rent bikes, mopeds and motorcycles on the island. There are taxis that you can take from the airport to the condo or rental cars available at the airport. If you are planning on just staying on the island and on the beach, you can get along without renting a car as there are shops and restaurants within walking distance. There is parasailing, fishing, jet skiing, dolphin tours, sightseeing tours, day trips to the Keys, casino boats, lots of shopping and golf across the street. Tennis is available right on the grounds along with new pickleball courts. The pool is heated so it feels like bath water. Bikes and mopeds can be rented right on the island or take a trolley ride to the north end of the island to the pier and Times Square. Plus the beach is right outside your door! The association does ask for proof of shots from your vet at least 30 days in advance of your visit. This is for your safety and also for the safety of your pet. Do not leave any part of the family behind! Keys are not an issue as there are security doors with keyless entry and our condo has a keyless entry as well, which the codes are given to you once you book with us. This is wonderful as you can drive right to the condo and start your vacation. No check-in desks, waiting in line or driving around trying to find the agency with the keys!
