Getting Around: Don’t be overwhelmed by the motorcycles on the road – walk around, cross our streets. Taxis are readily available too for ~12k VND per km, but Uber/Grab are the cheapest options to get around with no hassle. They also offer the bike options so you can avoid traffic. Taxi may cost around $3-4 to city center, but Uber/Grab only take around $1-2, from 5-10 minutes, with a/c in the car to avoid the hot weather of summer city. It takes 5 minutes drive to Le Thanh Ton street -Japanese area, 10 minutes drive to Ben Thanh Market, Pham Ngu Lao & Bui Vien packbacker area, 5 minutes to western area in District 2, quick and easy.
