The space This apartment is equipped with new furniture, electronics and appliances. Ensuring a comfortable night listening to waves on the beach is the new solid timber queen bed. The lounge features a sofa bed and desk, along with a DVD-capable TV connected to Freeview. As this is a compact studio apartment, the kitchen is naturally small but well equipped. It has a fridge, electric skillet, microwave, toaster - along with crockery, utensils, cutlery glassware etc. We can set up a small outdoor gas barbecue for those who want more cooking options. We have installed a backup genset which means guests will have power even when the inevitable remote area power outages occur. Guest access This apartment is for the exclusive use of guests. The outdoor areas are all shared. Other things to note The Hokianga - New Zealand’s forgotten Shangri-La New Zealand’s first discoverer, Kupe, arrived here 1000 years ago and, according to tradition, called it home for 50 years. From a nation’s birthplace to forgotten treasure, the Hokianga is being rediscovered The irony is that New Zealand’s oldest visitor destination is also its newest. Here at the Sneezle Beezle Beach Apartments, looking out over the harbour entrance to the giant sand dunes, guests can make the journey back to New Zealand’s forgotten Shangri-La.
