260 acre lake with a big beach and no public landing, making for a quiet stay with little fishing pressure. On the snowmobile trail spur and close to ATV trails. Optional fishing boat, kayaks and fishing equipment rentals available. Besse's (a local landmark restaurant) is located next to the cottage. The cottage itself is set back from the water about 80 yards. Once you book, I’ll give you a call. The space There’s a shared fire pit right in front of the cottage. Firewood’s right there. If you run out, there’s more right behind the cottage which is right behind me. There’s a place to park the trailer as well. If you prefer your own fire, I have a propane firepit as well. Guest access You can use the dock by the boat landing for fishing. My dock is in front of the swing set by the water. There’s a dock for fishing there too. Being summer, the bigger fish have moved out to the deeper water (10 to 12 feet on the deeper weed edge has been best for pike and panfish. Other things to note Fishing is picking up. Nice pike and crappie. Bluegills are hitting. In their summer, bass are plentiful. Night fishing is fast with some nice fish. The panfish are going little deeper, with the larger ones hanging out on the flats. I’d go deeper for crappies. To the best of my knowledge, no one has tried too hard for walleye.
