Dome Cottage is a quick six minute drive to Million Dollar Beach. We are conveniently located midway between the Lake George Village strip & the Great Escape Park & Outlets. Built in 1930, Dome combines cottage charm with modern amenities. Relax on the large porch, a lovely spot for morning coffee or a relaxing BBQ in the evening. With a gas grill & ample seating, it’s a great place to unwind. Whether it’s the fun of Lake George or a peaceful retreat, Dome Cottage is right for you! The space Dome has all the amenities of home, an electric stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster, air fryer and drip coffeemaker. There is a spacious eat-in kitchen with a large table for 6-8 people. There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom is upstairs and has a king size bed. The second bedroom is downstairs and has a double bed. The living room offers even more sleeping accommodations with a queen size pull out sofa, so the cottage can sleep a total of 6 guests (including children). Dome has a private firepit for everyone to enjoy the nice cool nights. There is AC in the living room and master bedroom, WIFI, and the living room has a Smart TV with HBO, Hulu, Netflix, Amazon, Disney+ and more. Our proximity to the Lake George Bike/hike trail is one of our best amenities. Head north for a fifteen minute ride to take a dip at Million Dollar Beach (all down hill to the lake, so a bit of a harder pedal home!) or head south to the historic Feeder Canal. Start the day with a hike along the same path. A few highlights - Bike Trail – across from the cottages is the bike trail which heads north takes you to Million Dollar Beach – wonderful walk or bike(remember it is uphill coming back!!). - Outlets – 2 miles south - Lake George Village – 2 miles north - Many beaches across route 9 – be sure and take a cruise on one of the big lake boats – an evening cruise is the best - Prospect Mountain drive and/or hike – one mile north right before village Amenities – Gas grill – Wifi – Air conditioning in living room and master bedrooms – Fire pit – Large kitchen with table for 6-8 – Electric stove – There are fans and heaters available. – Paper products - beginning supplies of toilet paper, paper towels and dish detergent are provided. — The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. – Pillows, bedspreads and blankets are provided. You also have the option to bring your own linens if you would like. If so, the mattresses and pillows would just have our protectors. >>>*****Please bring your own towels for bathing and beach trips as there is only one in the washroom. – Appliances include drip coffeemaker, microwave, electric stove top, toaster, refrigerator, air fryer, plates, mugs, bowls, and utensils. – Trash should be put in proper bags and put in dumpster. – Container for recyclables should be emptied into the appropriate containers next to the dumpster. – Cleaning supplies and vacuum and broom are provided. – The water is from a well and tastes great. – There are plenty of books for your summer reading. If you are not done with one, please take it with you. - Check out is 11:00. Please leave the cottage tidy; this includes dishes.
