You are only mins away from everything, Steps from World famous Waikiki Beach, Nightlife, ZOO, Aquarium, Yoga in Kapiolani park, Surfing rentals and lessons. It is also a short walk away from The International Marketplace District where you can find lots of shopping and world class Restaurants. Look out over Island life from your balcony, (or lanai as we say in Hawaii), with Stunning Ocean, Mountain, and cityscape views. The Pacific Monarch Building has many guest amenities: Rooftop swimming pool, hot tub, and deck, surrounded by markets and restaurants. The open air lobby is also a nice place for arrivals and guest meetings. Easily Accessible! With Ground floor Lobby, elevators to/from the parking garage, room, sauna, and less than a dozen stairs to reach the Rooftop Pool, Hot Tub, and 360 degree island views. You are walking distance from everything!! However, if so inclined, paid parking is available in the building for $30/day, payable directly at the parking machine at the entrance of the parking garage after you drive up the ramp. Parking garage card needed for access & provided along with building card at check-in. Please have always your ticket visible in the car as your car might get towed if not. Please follow the rules of the public parking garage, you will find them written next to the parking machine. Watch out for 'reserved' or '5 minute parking' spots. Street parking is not impossible, but is less reliable and may require a couple minutes of walking. Just don't park illegally, they can be strict! The building Laundry Room accepts credit cards or coins. We live in town and are available to answer questions for guests. The neighborhood is very safe with Waikiki Beach is just one block away. Shopping and fine dining is also just a few minutes walking distance. Also the foot of Diamond Head, zoo, aquarium, public golf course, and tennis courts are within a five minute walk. TRANSPORTATION - AIRPORT to WAIKIKI: RIDE SHARE - Fastest and Easiest way to arrive. $20-$35 TAXI- will run $30 - $45. SHUTTLES - reserve online or request at airport - one way or round trip tickets available and they can take 30 - 45 minutes on average. There are many Honolulu Airport Shuttles to and from Waikiki - $20 & up per person on average. PUBLIC BUS (no large bags)- $2.75 take #19 or #20, to Waikiki- Kuhio Ave reads WAIKIKI BEACH and can take 60 - 75 mins on average. RENTING A CAR - Best if you want to explore Oahu's North Shore, Kailua Beach. You can rent a car from the airport or from Waikiki (Enterprise and Alamo car rentals are 1 block away). If you have to park a car, expect to spend $30-35 per day to park the car as free street side parking is hard to find/get. BEWARE of Tow Trucks! ***Please note there is a construction site close to the unit that may have some loud noises during the day time hours only*** This may be problematic for late risers and afternoon nappers. Additionally, this is a city dwelling so there will still be some city noises.
