This exotic, spacious dome looks out on one of the best mountain views in the world. It’s so quiet, wild, and peaceful here. You won’t believe you’re only 20 minutes from Asheville. The dome is rustic. The deluxe outhouse is about 10 steps up a steep hill -- please be sure-footed. There's an outdoor shower on the deck, a comfy queen sized bed, and a kitchenette with a mini-fridge and hot plate. The space There is nothing like a geodesic dome. You can feel the energy healing you when you are inside. And there is an incredible view. You hear the wildlife all around you. It's like camping, but more comfortable. It feels remote, but note that there is one more rental, out of sight. Note that there is a two-minute walk from the parking lot to the dome. There is only one queen sized bed. There is space for an extra mattress if you have extra guests, but you must bring the extra mat. PLEASE ONLY STAY HERE if you are seeking a rustic space in beautiful nature. Uber does not come out here. The door does not lock. It's an adventure. There is a lot of information you will need to read. Also .. it's a nature sanctuary so you may be requested to use quiet voices. Some cell phones do not get good signal in the dome. There's an outhouse, outdoor shower, and bugs. Be warned :) This is camping. There will be dust. It's roughing it. THE PATH LIGHTS DON'T ALWAYS WORK SO UNLESS YOU'VE BEEN HERE BEFORE, I recommend coming before dark. It's not easy to find. If you have a bright flashlight I'm sure you'll be fine. It's very hot inside the dome on a sunny summer day from noon till 6, even with the fans, so best to spend the day out and about or to chill in your shade private backyard area. Other things to note Please bring raingear or an umbrella, and a flashlight. I provide wood for the wood stove, but please bring your own firewood for outdoor fires; you can buy at gas stations. There are outlets in the dome, but not enough power for electric blankets or heaters or toasters. PLEASE COME DURING DAYLIGHT FOR YOUR FIRST TIME.
