Long-term rental in Downtown Santa Fe. Treat yourself to this light-filled, beautifully decorated, charming, old-worldly 1 bd/1 ba casita of a historic Downtown mansion with a separate entrance, lush, relaxing private courtyard and a parking spot. Walk to the Plaza, De Vargas Mall, Sprouts, many cool restaurants, museums, coffee shops & hikes. Lockable gates, kitchen with range oven, cable TV with HD channels, Apple TV & fast Internet, washer/dryer. This is one of the attached casitas of a historic downtown compound (also in AirBNB at https://abnb.me/7Y7og5nY0X) built in 1898. Originally the home of one of the oldest Spanish families in Santa Fe, the home was extensively renovated in 2017. This lovely casita is ideal for a single person or a couple to enjoy an authentic Santa Fe experience and a lovely home. The 500 sqft space includes a large master bedroom with a king size bed, two large closets and plenty of desk space for office or creative work. Open concept living room and kitchen provide dining space for four and lounge space for up to seven people, comfortably. The kitchen is equipped with a range oven, smoothie blender, microwave oven and electric toaster. The bathroom has a large shower, a good size closet and a washer/dryer. The dimmable LED lights help set the mood. A SPA humidifier and a variety of natural essences are for your use to restore rest and peace. The outdoor courtyard is a true oasis with beautiful trees, flowering plants, birds, an outdoor grill and a lounging area with a special meditation chair built into the @@under the shading branches of a gorgeous queen of paradise tree. The solar lanterns hanging from the tree light up in the evening, transforming the courtyard into a magical space. The TV with XFinity service provides an endless line up of local and premier channels. If that is not sufficient, the built-in AppleTV can be used with your AppleID to access all the content you are accustomed to in your own home or the Smart TV will help you access any on-line entertainment service you have an account for. The casita is equipped with high-speed internet. Please click on the link for host information to check out our other listings equally beautiful and ideally located for short or long-term Downtown stays in our magical town. Access is through a separate gate into the courtyard and and an electronic keypad door inside. Surrounding adobe walls provide safety and privacy. There is one designated off-road parking space. I live in the second casita of the compound and am available for any assistance or guidance. The Rosario Hill neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Santa Fe. Many Spanish families owned large parcels here through grants by the Spanish King. A diverse residential area, the neighborhood incorporates much older family homes next to renovated beauties such as the historic Downtown Mansion this casita belongs to. Across from Arroyo Mascras, the feeling is one of living right by a river with tall and gorgeous elm and queen of paradise trees inhabiting the arrayo. A leisurely short walk will get you to the Downtown buses. The Railrunner Train Station that provides transportation to Albuquerque Sunport Airport is three minutes by car or an 18 minute of walk. Uber and Lyft are also very accessible in Downtown. There are two routes to walk to the Plaza. The shorter route is through Griffin Street to the right of the house when you get out the door. The more scenic route is through the Grant Avenue and it takes about 10 minutes as it leads you by the historic Federal Courthouse and Scottish Rite Temple, the US Postal Service Headquarters, Santa Fe Convention Center and Georgia O'Keeffe Museum before the beautiful Plaza. Turn left from the house and just follow the arroyo. Grant Avenue is the first right up Rosario Boulevard. Please note that this listing does not have any reviews yet. The property has been a popular "five-star" home on AirBNB since July of 2017. I have recently finished my world travels and am living back in Santa Fe and now am personally overseeing the management of the property. I look forward to you being one of my guests to experience an unforgettable visit to Santa Fe.
