Welcome to our cottage in the woods! We hope to cultivate a relaxing space for a getaway with friends or family. Our home is your home for a weekend, a week, or even a month. Use it as your personal retreat or home base for exploring the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires. Sip your morning coffee or tea on the patio, in the hammock, or by the fireplace. We promise it will be the perfect start to your adventures in Chatham! Our home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It can comfortably sleep 8. Perfect for two families enjoying a weekend away or a group of friends meeting up for a reunion! Upstairs there are two bedrooms featuring queen beds. One bedroom has a TV with Apple TV set up. You can watch Hulu & Netflix or Airplay from your laptop. Both bedrooms have plenty of closet space to store or hang your belongings. If you need to prepare for a night out there's an iron, ironing board, and lint roller. The upstairs bathroom features toiletries for your use, as well as a hairdryer. The downstairs bedroom has two bunk beds perfect for children or adults! Additionally, there are many hooks to store your gear on after a day of hiking or skiing. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cooking essentials and useful small appliances (stove, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, coffee-maker, electric kettle, Kitchen-Aid mixer) as well as coffee or tea for you to enjoy in the morning. You can find all your grocery needs at the Price Chopper supermarket, just fifteen minutes away. For specialty foods and local goods, head to the Chatham Real Food Market Co-op in town. The patio features a picnic table, as well as two chairs. Perfect for sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a meal with friends. You can also relax in the hammock or enjoy nature from the Adirondack chair. Sit around the fire pit and chat with your friends. Take your meal or games out to the gazebo and enjoy listening to nature. There is no shortage of ways to enjoy the beauty surrounding you! Guests will have access to the entire cottage. There is plenty of parking! You will need to drive to most destinations. Our home has a keypad entry, so you'll be able to go right in when you arrive. We can be reached by phone or email throughout your stay if there are any issues. Located between the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires there is so much to explore! Just 15 minutes to downtown Chatham, where you can enjoy local eats and drinks. Check out our guidebook for our favorite spots! Just 30 mins away, Hudson, NY boasts antiques and fine dining. For arts and gardens drive just 20 mins to the Berkshire Botanical Gardens, Norman Rockwell Museum, Naumkeag, and Tanglewood. Hike next door at Beebe Hill State Forest, or drive just 30 minutes to Jiminy Peak, Catamount, or Butternut for skiing! Drive 15 minutes to Chatham or West Stockbridge for some great restaurants and shopping. Check out local trails in the Berkshires of Massachusetts. While our home has excellent high-speed Wifi perfect for working, Zooming, or researching local spots, you will need to turn on Wifi calling on your phone if you need to make a call. There is very limited cell service for a couple of miles in each direction, so make sure to pop your destination into your GPS before heading out. Once in town, the cell service is excellent.
