Poplar Farm Studio is a spacious and comfortable one bedroomed apartment spread over two floors with floor to ceiling window, leading to large balcony making the most of the magnificent views! It is only 10 minutes drive to Chester City centre. The space Located in the countryside, offering the benefit of a quiet and relaxing holiday, yet only 6 miles away is the city of Chester, famous for being a walled city with its unique half timbered galleried shops and its Victorian Eastgate clock - said to be the most photographed timepiece in the world after Big Ben. Shops, restaurants and history are all to be found here. Chester has the largest amphitheatre in Britain, a 10th century cathedral, two renowned museums - the Grosvenor and Military Museums, and not forgetting the zoo! The walk around the walls is approximately 2 miles and offers a bird’s eye view of the city centre and views across to Wales’ magnificent mountains. Cheshire Oaks designer outlet village and Delamere Forest Park are only 10 miles away. Beeston with its castle, Tattenhall where the Cheshire Farm Dairy ice cream is made and Farndon which links Cheshire to Wales by a sandstone bridge are all an easy drive. Transport links are excellent with Manchester and Liverpool just 30-45 minutes away. Shops 2 miles, pub with good food and real ale 1 mile but with many to choose from in the surrounding area. The apartment is modern and contemporary with a stunning balcony with views to North Wales. The area is very rural and peaceful. Guest access The apartment, balcony and hot tub plus covered parking (for 2 cars) and cycle store. It is opposite the main house and is very private with an outside area which has a hot tub. Other things to note The beds can be put together to make a double or apart to make a twin. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs. The hot tub may not be completely ready on the day of arrival as may require heating which takes 6-8 hours. However, we will always try to ensure it will be ready for the evening on the day of arrival. We suggest bringing your own flip flops to use when walking from the property to the hot tub. Extra towels are provided.
