We are approximately 2 miles to the gorgeous Kailua Beach and minutes from glorious hiking trails. At roughly 450 sq ft, this waterside studio with king bed is airy, modern and clean, with indoor views to the bay, going out to a private lanai (patio) and tropical garden right on the water. This location is ideal for anyone wanting an extended vacation, visiting family, moving or renovating and needing a place to stay, military transfers, or coming to the islands to do contract work and need month to month accommodation. The totally new renovation offers a kitchenette with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, crock pot, rice cooker, toaster, nutri bullet, coffee maker, all cutlery, dishes, glasses and mugs and barbecue with gas side burner for outside cooking. We do not allow any cooking method other than provided in the studio. There is a free shared guest laundry with detergent provided, there is also an outside hot and cold water shower to wash off the beach or those long hot muddy hikes! Our tropical breezes are cool and refreshing, but if you prefer, we have A/C We provide coffee and tea, fruit and yogurt for your first morning, so you may want to stock up on fresh produce at the local farmers markets. There are grocery stores close by, we do provide shampoo, soaps, bath tissue and kitchen paper for your arrival, but please make sure to pick some up as it’s not replenished for 30+day rentals. Help yourself to a beach towel, chair and cooler and take a short drive to Kailua Beach. Stop off at the famous Kalapawai Market where they can make you a delicious deli sandwich for a picnic or, serve you up a latte just the way you like it. Once you return to your home away from home, you may want to take a nice nap or check out the tropical foliage and flowers in the garden before heading out to the charming town of Kailua. You'll find many restaurants to choose from in all price ranges. If you choose to venture out to explore, Kaneohe is the perfect get-anywhere location. The island of Oahu is only 40 miles from tip-to-tip, so you can explore it quite easily. Honolulu and Waikiki are just half and hour away. As your on site hosts, we will help you discover and enjoy our beautiful island. We have friendly on site dogs you may see from time to time in the garden, please don’t feed them! Because of our own dogs, we do not accept any animals brought on property. We welcome you to come and stay and enjoy all the wonderful delights that Hawaii, Kaneohe and Kailua have to offer. High speed wireless internet and basic cable TV are provided. Interaction with guests: No shared spaces, you have it all to yourself. Your hosts live on the property however and, are readily accessible should you have any questions or need suggestions on what to do or where to eat. Hosts are available to answer any questions This is a quiet, deadend, upscale neighborhood. There is a bus stop at the end of our street. However, we always recommend hiring a car so you get to truly explore the island on your time. The new State law allows for 30 day minimum rental, we are happy to accept longer term up to 6 months. Please note that our calendar only accepts reservations 6 months out. If the dates you want show as unavailable you may want to wait until you're within the 6 month sliding window, alternatively please contact me. Guests staying less than 12 months will need to make arrangement for mail delivery at a USPS as we do not receive it at our home. Airbnb does not include State and local taxes for stays less than 180 days. An additional 14.962% Hawaii GET and TAT taxes will be collected upon arrival for stays less than 180 days.
